The theory is that when the weekly, monthly bonuses come is that the algorithm favors the house, so people wait until mid week to play.

Another theory is that, people only complain and talk more when the lose compared to when they win. When they win, they go out and spend their money not to come back until trying to bet more money only to lose it all.

 

Can be either, though the latter is more likely true. Just best to set a limit and play within it.
