What do you guys think about new feature?

Advantage

  1. Hacker cant tip to other account
  2. More security

Disadvantage

  1. Each and every time we need 2FA to tip
  2. Hacker cant withdrawal and tip so can bust our  balance

Assuming you did not set your 2fa at login. should secure your login already.

Advantage:

1. Hacker cant open your account.

2. Account gets more secured.

Disadvantage:

If he bypassed 2fa security once, cant he just do it again?

This is a really good idea :) Especially for the withdrawal part.

I think that they should at least give an option to disable it when tipping.

I just have one question:

What do you mean by this?

i have  seen that case  one  time  ... hacker  hack one  account and  he  played  his  account and  busted   :)

Would be good to have, so long it's made optional. I think it's been brought up many a time already.

And right, they can still bust your balance. I know at least one other site even offers the ability to unlock gambling only for set periods of time through 2fa check.

I dont really like it now can make tipping tedious and discourage more people from tipping which isnt really a big deal but maybe for streamers and such to have to put in 2fa in the middle of stream just to tip someone quick.

I'm not understanding what you guys are talking about whenever you guys say you have to use 2fa in order to tip. Because I've tipped and I don't have to use it

Just so that you all are aware, the 2FA on tipping was an additional security measure that was added because a lot of members of the site were concerned about account security. This is only a temporary measure until the vault is finished, whereas people will be able to keep their funds secure in a banking system, with extra protection so that if their account does somehow become compromised, their funds are still protected.

@Dan

i don't understand the point of this: i already use 2fa and it's already ask 2fa on login, what's the point of asking it again every tip? if someone can pass it once he should be able to pass it again. else, he won't be able to login to begin with.

also, if you don't use 2fa at all you don't need to input 2fa on either, so what's the point?

at least please add an option to disable 2fa on tip while enable 2fa on login (or both)

If you have logged into stake or any other website from someone else computer, and don't log out, when they next visit the website, you will be still logged in. This is how basically every website works. Having 2fa on tips and withdrawal for the meantime means they cant take your funds.

This means
Stake = low security
Right ?

@Dan

Nowadays Stake activities and updates 100% against users. 😡

@Dan reply this post

How did you deduce that this means stake has low security?

We added additional security for users who don't take care of their account security properly......

We currently are one of the safest crypto casinos in operation and have been praised countless times for it. I don;t understand how you came to your conclusion.

i want to say yes that wa s agreat idea, but then i wnt to say the exact opposite. i think it should maybe have some type of timer window until you have to enter your 2fa to tip again for example. i tip someone and entere the 2fa it gives me a little 2 minute window to tip some of my other friends that i wanted to tip so i dont have to keep re entering it.

this is a good idea, i support.

something like this would help:

"don't ask me for 2fa again when tipping for a period of" "5 min" "10 min" "1 hour" "6 hours" "no, ask me every time"

> We added additional security for users who don't take care of their account security properly......

would a people like that enable 2fa?

Totally frightening anonnep. People lose their 2fa passwords all the time, and then u can’t tip. Plus what a hassle. Great in theory. Terrible in practical application.
