xtinepink Posted September 20, 2018 #1 Posted September 20, 2018 The Osaka Based cryptocurrency exchange, Zaif, announced of the recent hacked which amounted to $60 million. The Zaif said that stoken cryptos were Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and MonaCoin from its hot wallet. The exchange are still further investigating the hacked server. They also mentioned that Zaif plans to secure and to pay back those customers that were affected by the hack. This is not the only exchange that got havk in Japan, remember the hacked back in January of this year where the Coincheck also reported a $520 million in NEM tokens were stolen. kurian Posted September 20, 2018 #2 Posted September 20, 2018 It is bad to see such hacking attempts on cryptocurrency exchanges. Actually, it degrades the credibility of crypto or at least portrays them as bad investment idea. The problem is not with crypto, the security faults on exchanges causes this issue.
