Missing the way it was

I've been player here since September of 2017  and im so happy to be a player here I'm here quite often and as of lately I know myself as well as others don't really want to be here as quite often as we used to because things are changing and they're not changing for the better.     Stake used to be not just a place to go gamble but  its a place to go hang out with your friends and chat and when I say friends I mean regular players, support staff and the mods .  That  was the best thing about stake was closeness of the community.  I miss being able to go into chat and actually have a conversation with somebody but now chat scroll so fast because there's so many alts and noobs driving everyone insane with there lame begs and rainbot stalking that you can't even get a word in. I miss the way that steak was and the good times we all had in chat .  I'm sure majority will agree with me. I would love to hear everyones opinion on this. I really hope Stake gets back to normal soon 😢🔨🔧#unbreakStake💔

I feel like this is an issue with life In general, people get bored of things and move on or life just moves on. I agree, i miss how things were in my life, there were so much simpler times in the past, so many things were so much better, so much has changed. I wish I could go back, but ultimately I can't and even if I tried, it really wouldn't be the same.

Make the most of the present, life everyday like its your last, and you will find less reason to hate the present and change.

I agree, I feel that the sense of 'community' has not been the same since the update. I joined in June this year, and I loved getting to know everyone, and chatting.

There is definitely something different about the feel of Stake, not sure if the update had anything to do with it, but the community aspect is just not what it used to e a few months ago

The forum community seems to be getting better though? I've noticed an increase in meaningful discussions on here. I don't have much time with chat so I have to catch up with what has changed.

I think another issue is gambling isn't really something you grow with forever. Its not unlimited entertainment for most people.

Depend on what period you are comparing with. July/August were terrible on forum with way too much copy-paste from elsewhere, now it's indeed better on this aspect but there is still lots of accounts banned on a weekly basis. Some were warned multiple time and now they start to understand how to form a correct thread, that count too.

And maybe it's connected to the chat being less interesting for some people.They don't like the chat that much anymore so they are coming on forum instead.

I don't have any real stats about that but Bmg for example seem more active lately on forum and she don't like the chat that much, maybe it's connected i don't know (just a random thought).

I had never spent hardly any time on the Forum until recently and I really like it here especially since I discovered that all you wonderful people are here with topics that are interesting and conversing like adults should. Don't get me wrong  stake chat is one of my favorite places still  but lately  it's becoming less and less  the place I want to be due to the fact that about 50% of the time now when I go into chat on the site it's crowded it's annoying it's frustrating and it's rediculous with all of the bot lurkers waiting around like children waiting for the ice cream man to arrive. Lol im dying to get my hands on a mute hammer 😉🍀☕💙💞

This is gotten to the point that i really dont want to be in chat at stake anymore at all. It is entirly alt spam its just gotten way out of controll. The new system for the faucet has created a massive increas of alts trying to get thier hands on a tiny piece of anything if everyone gets the same faucet but you limit that faucet the easiest way to get it just make alts there needs to be a higher reward for higher levels so that users stay with one account to earn more. But thats only part of the issue this new rainbot has all these alts spamming chat so badly thinking they will get rain for it needs to be stopped mods need to crack down hard on this mute every user that even sounds slightly beggish until it becomes to much of a waist of time for people to creat these alts for rain. I see less and less old user names everytime i enter chat. I believe this is because like myself they feel that stake chat has become a joke and is no place real users want to be. Its an out of controll spam fest for morons not the fun place to chat with friends that Stake used to be. I hope its fixed soon i dont want to leave Stake but as it is now my user name wont be seen there much if ever at all and soon there will be no reason for me to come back.   FIX IT PLEASE

I feel you @bmg!  I'm spending a lot less time in chat and I still think the live support team on Stake is the best in the business.

Totally agree @Bigmann23 that a serious crack down on spamming is needed.  I get it, it's free money, you want some, we all do, now STFU.

@Dan the forum goes up and down based on how active what I call "the one liners" are and of course the alts spamming their 10 posts so they can do the weekly contests.  The ones this week look pretty hard to me, so I expect forum will be better.

Keep hope alive @Kargai!  The forum needs moderation - I appreciate you!  I'm spending a little more time on here in an effort to get the "stake fix" that chat doesn't consistently provide anymore, but it's not the same.

Even tho stake has always had a great community people have always begged and passively begged nothing has changed except their are more n more everyday. But we cant forget this is a gambling site not really a social site so in the end as long as stake is making money and people are playing I think they are doing what they need to. I love the updates also maybe not some of the bugs but i can wait for those to be fixed we have waited this long for some of these changes already. Things do change and stake has lost a lot of users also many will come and go and that's also how stake changes. Just hope that as these updates become less new maybe some of the beggers will come and go and we will see less but who knows but I do like the direction stake has gone in

I agree with you BMG.   I barley recognize half of the names in chat.   And when someone is tipping watch the f out cuz everyone and their brother is now spamming chat. Some are even rude and demanding.   I sure hope it goes back to the way it was too.

The people who waste time making one line responses don't earn any payment from the PPP initiative. Furthermore they are just wasting their time if they are alts because we successfully clear all alts out before payments go through.

If the forum is being spammed and you don't think the moderation team is doing a good enough job to keep it clean, we can easily change that.

Here on the forum they are doing a great job. Its in stake chat where everything is going bad. Earlier though in chat it was brought up that its not the mods that are failing to do thier duties but admin not alwsys backing them when they do. What ever it is I just hope it ends soon.

I have to admit I agree , I have been a player here since 2017 too although I don't always contribute to chat , I recongnise most players in chat as I always have it open and now and again if an actual conversation is happening then I join in , but usually its one liners , I greet the mods when I come on too , but yeah when it rains the chat goes crazy , its  not how it used to be ,

weather that's good or bad is up to each individual I suppose
