Generate new Deposit Address

Hi, sometimes after I deposit BTC, the same deposit address is kept there so I have to use it again when I want to make a new deposit. I understand this is not a big deal for most people, but for more paranoid people like me, I would appreciate the feature to manually get a new, clean BTC deposit address. Or is there some button to press that I missed somewhere in the options?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out :)

Deposit address is generated as soon as you click on the button "DEPOST" on your account, and it goes that way for all the 3 currently available currencies on our site (BTC/ETH/LTC). It is unique alpha-numeric string and it should be kept for your eyes only, so do not share it on chat, with other players or anyone you don't trust 300%

To generate a new addy every single time you want to make a separate deposit might be a feature on some other sites (I cannot claim for sure!), but it is definitely unpractical and causes more trouble than it prevents any type of a potential abuse. The change of addresses on site occurred with one of the last updates we have had on site, the users have been warned in advance that this will happened via Forum announcement if I am not mistaken, to avoid any type of a misplaced funds/depositing to the old one. Unfortunately, even in this case, the mistakes have happened... many have had the old addy already saved in their wallet and deposited on the old one without even checking the change made on the platform itself, that is, before generating a new one. In these cases, us from the support come to the rescue, because misplaced funds need to be located and manually credited to users. It hasn't been too much of a problem, but imagine this happening on a daily basis, and if all the users, some of them who deposit a few times per day, would generate the new one each time when they would be making a new deposit. It would be a transaction mess hard to untangle :/

So, I don't think this is practical at all, not for us and not for users. All you need to do is be paranoid about the safety of your account - place a strong password, enable the 2FA, don't share your access data with anyone, connect the email to your account, do not login from suspicions places - internet cafes, public wifis, do not use the third party bots and scripts (Stake platform does not support this), and do not click any suspicious links someone shares on chat or in PMs!!! :) Basically, if you take all the preventive measures, there is no need to worry about your account's safety and constant deposit addy will not present any type of a threat to your account's safety ;)

Yeah I'd love to know OPs reasoning. Who cares if someone finds your depo address. They can't access it anyways.

Worst case they use it to depo crypto and you get free funds in your account.

Whats the problem?

this is is a classic case of someone whose uneducated on the system but still uses the system.
