xtinepink Posted September 21, 2018 #1 Posted September 21, 2018 On a recent report on Thursday, Candidates of California Candidates running for political positions shall not be allowed to receive donations using cryptos. Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) for the Golden State which resulted to voted 3-1, in which political personalities are prohibited in accepting donations in cryptocurrencies, with this move it will not be difficult in tracking those donations and keep the transparency for each campaign. A representative of FPPC said that: "There was extensive research by staff, input from stakeholders that was publicly displayed on our website and public debate among the Commission today and that is the decision rendered. As was publicly stated by many if not all of the Commissioners, there will be further debate and analysis in the coming months and years." bmg Posted September 24, 2018 #2 Posted September 24, 2018 I don't think that they should be allowed to take Bitcoin as donations for political campaigns. One Good Reason is you can't track it also the rate fluctuates every minute so who's to say what they would claim as a donation on their taxes.
Bigmann23 Posted September 24, 2018 #3 Posted September 24, 2018 As long as they can account for where every single satoshi came frome and went then i see no problem withit. But i dont see them accuratly doing this. It gives to many loop holes for already curupt pollatitions to hide what they are truly doing. So no for now i dont thinl it should be allowed.
