“Golden Egg Showdown”: every year, one special golden egg is hidden super well, and it’s filled with something ridiculous (like a riddle, a prank, or a weird challenge). Whoever finds it has to complete the challenge before getting the prize. Think: singing a song in a bunny voice or doing a dramatic reading of a chocolate bunny’s life story. Total chaos, but memorable!

Every Easter, my family hides chocolate eggs in the most unexpected places—like inside shoes or the mailbox—and we race to find them all before breakfast! It’s our weird little tradition, but we love it.

Answer:

For us, Easter follows the same slightly chaotic ritual every year:

First, there’s a big breakfast – part tradition, part leftover cleanup. Then, we hide eggs, but not for kids – no, the adults are the ones searching. And there’s a reason for that: some eggs contain little notes with “dares.” For example, if you find the egg with “Call your ex and wish them a happy Easter,” you have to do it (at least in theory).

In the end, we all have coffee together, pretend everything was completely normal – and look forward to next year. 😵‍💫🥴🤣

Answer: Egg scavenger hunt, Instead of hiding just one golden egg, we turn it into a mini scavenger hunt! Inside the first golden egg is a clue that leads to the next one — each egg along the way holds a small treat or fun message. The final egg holds a special prize or family experience (like “Ice cream outing,” “Movie night,” or a small gift card). It turns Easter into an interactive adventure that everyone looks forward to — especially the kids.
