If Easter eggs could grant wishes, I would wish for one more holiday with my grandmother. She passed a few years ago, and Easter was always her favorite. She would bake the most incredible carrot cake and hide little notes in the plastic eggs instead of candy… things like I am proud of you or Do not forget how loved you are. I would give anything to sit at the table with her again, hear her laugh, and just soak in that kind of love one more time.
