Another bug in Blackjack

The problem in blackjack stealing from users:

I noticed that Insurance does not pay 2:1. It seems to only pay 0.5:1. Could you please investigate this?

I should have got my 15k back, as I took insurance, but I only got 10k back. This means that I lost 5k due to an error in the code

two more bugs i found (i'll called it bug for now since the site change it without user noticed)

1. you can't double when you get 12+ hand

2. can't re-hit after split ace (i didn't stand on this, it just end)

ps. if it is a rule change, not a bug. please change the house edge according to that. don't lie to your customer with the old 0.4%

@Dan yeah the A,A after split auto stand is ridiculous bug

Not sure if it correct but the auto blackjack on the dealer seems not good

For example, 10(Dealer), and Player got 5,3(8) 

Maybe the next card in desk is A,4,4

In the old version:

if the player hit they will get the soft 19 (NO body gonna stand on an 😎

 And then stand so the dealer does not get blackjack

New version

The dealer instant grab the A

Then player lost

BTW the insurance button is not good as it has the same position as the hit button (old interface was below)

when I want to hit again an A, I mistakenly clicked insurance all the time (fast click)

no, you're misunderstanding this. it actually called dealer peek/not peek rule. and the new dealer peek actually better for the player

even in the old version dealer already draw both card (but only revealed a single card), in your example of old rule it would be player 19 vs dealer 21 and player lose 

and if dealer got blackjack, you'd lose more if you double/split

in new version dealer peek for when he got both A and 10 as first card, which help cut loss when dealer got natural blackjack

the different that's disadvantageous for the player now is now a natural blackjack from dealer by 10 + A isn't a push anymore when player got a total of 21 (not blackjack, which when you think about the previous loss from peek rule, it's still better for player)

I only tried it once:

Insurance in practice works as a separate bet fixed at half bet size.

Problem is, in the event of dealer effectively having a natural BJ, it appears to be paying back less than expected at 1:1 for a successful insurance bet.

 

Note: I actually tried this earlier than this thread was created, and if there were any updates done since, then this experience would be outdated.

 

And to echo what others have reported, the following rules weren't applying properly: 

• Double and split available.
• Double on anything, cant re-hit on double.
• Can hit on splits.

UPDATE: we will resolve this issue with insurance today. The payout multiplier is indeed wrong. When you lose to the dealer with natural blackjack and you purchased insurance the bet should be a push or even money outcome.

We are aware of the following two issues which are to be resolved shortly.

• Player can't double on any first two cards - needs to be fixed.
• Player can't currently hit on split aces - needs to be fixed.

With all our rules added to the game board, this whole problem will hopefully be resolved.

there's a visual bug here. which one is corrected? from my understanding it should payout 0.00 (no gain no loss) when you win insurance but lose base bet, but on verification info it show i lose money

@Dan can the insurance button be back to the old position like not overlay the hit button. Its make users mistakenly click on it when they want to do the hit. I did it by mistake sometime

i play on the pc and noticed the change too

previously it look like this:

which have a chance to click accept or decline then click again on hit or stand (or split/double if you click the lower part of button) due to the box overlapping
