Unicef France is now accepting crypto donations

UNICEF in France is widely open for people or organizations who wants to donate in cryptos. The UNICEF will be accepting 9 different cryptocurrencies and those are Bitcoin, bitcoin cash, ethereum, litecoin, ripple,  Eos, monero, dash, and stellar. 

Sébastien Lyon, the Director of Unicef France also stated that; 

“Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology used for charitable purposes offer a new opportunity to appeal to the generosity of the public and continue to develop our operations with children in the countries of intervention”

 

I thought that this a great move from Unicef particularly in France because it breaks a wall to those people or any organizations that wants to reach out with them and give help using this technology.
