Stake not upholding their OWN policy

Hi everyone :)

I would like to bring attention to the fact that I have reported 2 bugs within the last month.

Both of these bugs were non-visual, and both of them warranted an update to the code of the game. They were also both exploitable.

So, basically they both meet the criteria to get a reward.

This is the first one:

In this bug, when the player clicked insurance, it would not deduct any amount from the players' balance (you can read up about it in the topic).

Blackjack in Stake was disabled for a few days while the developers were re-programming it.

Players could exploit this easily. For example, if a player bet 0.05 BTC, and they clicked insurance, and the dealer DID NOT have a blackjack, Stake lost revenue of 0.025 BTC.

Multiply this by the total daily revenue that blackjack makes for Stake per day = Highly exploitable and large amounts of revenue lost for Stake.

At the end of the day, I saved Stake money here, as no revenue would be received when the player clicked insurance, yet insurance still paid out as it should.

The players benefited all the way with this one, so the fact that I posted this, to the players' detriment, and to Stake's advantage, should be looked at.

Other players in that topic also said it is worthy of a reward. The topic was locked without contacting me, or anything like that. I find that very unprofessional.

What is the incentive to report bugs that benefit the players (to Stakes' financial loss) if Stake does not uphold their policy with regards to bug reporting?

This is the second one:

This bug was exploitable by Stake, to the players' detriment. More details are explained in the post.

@Dan also acknowledged the fact that this was a bug, and the issue was corrected within several hours (which proves how serious this issue was).

Had I not pointed it out, it could have been left undetected for months, robbing players without them even being aware.

I am an active member of both the forum and the Stake community, so I am not here to whine about not getting a reward. I am here to ensure that Stake upholds its policies regarding bug reporting, so that players do bring bugs forward to make Stake a better place.

Stake is also trying to appeal to new users, to grow the community. I think that upholding policies for older members is just as important.

If the reasons given above are unclear, I will be more than willing to explain them in more detail if needed :)

You need to contact Edward, Micro, Spike or Stunna. They manage the bug bounty. Or live support. I am a member of the community and won't be giving you my own private funds for something that I don't manage.

Also stop putting spaces in between each line, I struggled to read much of your post without proper structure.
