Bitcoin back in 2010!

Okay, so back in 2010 I had just turned 18 and was looking to start investing. I found bitcoin and thought ”hmm this will probably be the currency in the future” so I bought bitcoin when it was around $0.1, I bought around $20 worth of bitcoin (200 bitcoins) and left it in my wallet until dec 2012. The price of bitcoin was now around $13 and I thought it would'nt go much higher so I sold my 200 bitcoin for $12 each, $2400 total. I was very happy with my purchase but when I just last year started getting into investments again I noticed the name bitcoin and remembered, I had bought 200 bitcoins earlier and they were now worth $15000 each. Thats when I realized that I f**ked up, if I would just had kept that bitcoin in my wallet I would have had around $3 million if I sold it at that price.

 

Any other stakers who has experienced something similar? When you just regret your decision afterwards and feel really stupid lol?

If you think about it. That's not too bad of a story  You made a looooot of profit from your original 20$ "investement" which you turned into 2400$. Thats great already. Yes you could've gotten a lot more now but rather exit early than never...

Thats true, but I still felt very stupid because I could have made ALOT more than I actually did

I won a raffle about 2 years ago. It was a doge lottery, I don’t even know how I got a ticket for it, but I won. I believe it was 600,000 doge, and if I’m not mistaken the value at the time was like $49.00. I might be a little off, but close enough. Better than the eye poke, but nothing too exciting. I played some roulette on the site I had won the doge. I got up to like 1,700,000 doge, like $160.00. Then I lost...

Oddly enough, this morning I was like, “I wonder how much that doge would be worth now”. So I went and checked... $9,940.00. 

Thank God, not millions, BUT, when e first started trading eth, he was buying like $14,000.00 at a time. They were $7.00, and this was when they went to $15.00 in like a week period. I begged him, even threatened his life, lol, nothing new there, but I told him to pleeeease please just put 1000 of them in a wallet for me, just one fkn time... he did not. When eth was at like $400.00, he would have made like $2,200,000.00. He neva’ listens, lol, neva’.

Wow! 200 BTC, that is so much money! If only you knew what it would be worth if you just held on a bit longer.

Oh well, that's a sad story I'm sure you'll never forget  At least you made  a bit of profit

Wow that is crazy! If only you knew! I am sorry :( its like gold. lol invest. That is a crazy story though. I do not have any experience but don't let it get to you. Learned lesson :) Have a good day and happy gaming!

Its really insane to hear some of the crazy amounts of money people could have had. If they had just held on a little longer to there coin.

well actually i know a lot of peoplethat lose in this "trading game" that is why for me i think you have not lost,

it is better to count your profits and move on than to count what could have been money that could turn to rock anytime. Goodluck in the future for us all here!

Investing and exchanging currencies has its advantages and disadvantages, whereas there are cases that even yesterday a guy earned 1000 pounds during the day.

Well bitcoin back then if you had like a lot of bitcoins then you would been rich today😂

And it was easier back then as well.

Nowadays rarely you get 1 BTC.

So yeah kinda sucks but you gotta deal with it. 😴
