Making rainbot's rains private!

I'm not sure who did it but someone posted a topic earlier today regarding the massive increase of spam on stake the last few days/weeks.

I'm almost 100% sure it has something to do with all the newbie players from the twitter giveaways that just make an account because of the giveaway and then come in chat to beg some HRs or stuff. The other reason I thought about was that the rainbot announcements of the rains attract people, especially the newer players, to beg in chat or ask for rains. Which, in my honest opinion, is stupid and annoying because it's a bot that rains depending on your wagers and not *only* because you're active in chat. 

That's why I'ld love it if the rainbot messages of who got rained on would be private or only the players affected get to see it. There is no reason big enough to make everyone see who just got tipped. It only encourages beggars and useless spam. There could be a message saying "Be active in chat and wager to get chosen by the rainbot for a little bonus!" or something along these lines but no public announcement about it.

This is an easy common sense solution that I suggested a week ago:

However, the Stake honchoes want people to see people getting rained on in hopes that they will play more.  Dan's idea was to make chat not count for rain at all, which of course will just make things worse as you'll still have everyone asking about it, so I figure that is much more likely to happen than simply making the messages private.
