Moderator maverick528 Posted October 15, 2019 Author Moderator #26 Posted October 15, 2019 Past weekend looked this movie, "Predestination". If you like science fiction movies, take a look at it. The main subject of the movie is all the paradoxes that happen when there is time travel (to the past, because if you travel only to the future no paradoxes appear at all). What it is NOT is a movie full of special effects, so if you love those movies where the most important thing is all the visual details, this is not the one .... https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/predestination
Aazzah Posted October 21, 2019 #27 Posted October 21, 2019 hey mav, If there is ever going to be a goonies 2... that is definitely something i would love to watch before i die. I absolutely love the goonies. I just wish that they would make a newer version of it! XD
sheenazbay Posted October 22, 2019 #28 Posted October 22, 2019 there is no film that makes me want to watch it before I die, there is no film that makes me really want to watch it.
Moderator maverick528 Posted May 13, 2020 Author Moderator #29 Posted May 13, 2020 I watched this one a pair of days ago, and highly recommend it to ppl that like science fiction films. Its about the subject of Artificial Intelligence, and the Turing Test, a way to test the interaction with some artificial intelligence to evaluate if it can not be distinguished from the interaction with a real human. Good acting, good handling of the camera and lighting, and it does not have too much special effects like other SciFi movies where the visual candy is everything and the plot is empty.... It is very highly rated in sites like Rotten Tomatoes and won several awards, including an Oscar for best visual effects and a nomination for best original screenplay. I think you are not going to be dissapointed with this one. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ex_Machina_(film)
roxanne09 Posted August 3, 2020 #30 Posted August 3, 2020 home alone movie..before i die i want to laugh that much again
Tman101 Posted August 3, 2020 #31 Posted August 3, 2020 I would have to say my favorite movie and that is A WALK TO REMEMBER! I know a lot of people say cancer movies are over done but if you watch this movie no matter hoe you are there is something to relate to. Whether it is being picked on in school, first love, pure pressure, or having a difficult relationship with your parents. I must have watched it 10 times and i hate rewatching movies.
Eglesias Posted August 3, 2020 #32 Posted August 3, 2020 maybe you will laugh but the Matrix trilogy. Expand the universe with the game. Imagine that this is possible.
bd2323 Posted September 18, 2020 #34 Posted September 18, 2020 The Gentlemen (Newest Guy Richie movie) love love love it
Xamara Posted June 21, 2021 #35 Posted June 21, 2021 I consider myself movie lovers, I don't have a favorite genre, but I have several to recommend. The sinister island: It has a very good plot, it envelops you in the story and in the end something very inoperative happens that definitely drives you crazy. Pan's Labyrinth - Some drama and fantasy make that movie a great story, although the main character is a girl, the movie is very deep and interesting. The substitute: Another very interesting film, which tells the story of a kidnapped child and that his mother does everything possible to find him, we will see everything the mother has to go through to be heard and help her find her son.
Azriel123 Posted June 22, 2021 #36 Posted June 22, 2021 For me, it's "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne. I watch it when I'm feeling down. It's on Netflix. ☺️ WHY: It's about the Law of Attraction and how to manifest the things you want in life. I'm also a fan of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit. Will binge watch those at any given time. Also anything Disney is on my list. WHY: Coz they are feel good movies (for me at least) and coz I loved the books. There's a series I watched on Netflix based on comics I've read is Trese. Filipino supernatural stuff. WHY: To show support into a comic that I love. ❤️ On normal days, I tend to watch mostly action stuff. Anything that has Jason Statham kicking *ss, I'm good. Hahaha. WHY: Coz I love kick ass actions films. 💪💪💪

Moderator maverick528 Posted February 15, 2022 Author Moderator #41 Posted February 15, 2022 "Eddie the eagle" is a movie about a normal person that wants to be in the Olympic Games, and incredibly succeeds in reaching his dream. Its based on a true history. While it could tell all the events as a dramatic story, it is made as a comedy so in the end you will be happy and laughing. Hope you enjoy it the same as I did, and remember that dreams can come true, and miracles happen, but not always. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_the_Eagle_(film) https://www.nbcsports.com/washington/beijing-2022-winter-olympics/who-eddie-eagle-and-how-he-still-impacts-olympics
