innnity Posted April 16, 2025 #1 Posted April 16, 2025 Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with Stake.com and hopefully get some clarity or advice from others who’ve gone through something similar. Recently, I deposited $452.23 into my Stake account. Unbeknownst to me, a $904.15 bonus was automatically applied to my account — I never explicitly requested or intended to use this bonus. My sole intent was to play with my own money and withdraw freely when I wanted to. I started playing, what I assumed to be my own money. Now here’s the kicker: my balance never dropped below the amount of my deposit plus bonus, meaning the bonus funds were never actually used. I wagered only within my deposited balance and won a significant amount, but when I tried to withdraw, I was told I could not because I hadn't met the 40x rollover requirement on both my deposit and the bonus. Despite me repeatedly stating that I never used the bonus and never dropped below my deposit amount (meaning I didn't benefit from their money), their support agents — even after escalation — kept repeating the same line: "Because you started playing with the funds, you triggered the rollover." They completely dismissed the fact that the bonus was never touched. When I asked if I could forfeit the bonus, they said it was no longer possible since “wagering had started,” even though only my own deposited funds were used. I even offered to withdraw only the amount I deposited, untouched, and was still refused. To me, it seems unreasonable to hold my entire balance hostage under bonus terms when I: Never asked for the bonus Never dipped into the bonus balance Only wagered with my own money I’m seriously considering lodging a complaint with AskGamblers and Curaçao eGaming if this isn’t resolved. This whole situation feels deceptive and unfair. If anyone has dealt with a similar issue — or knows of a successful way to challenge this — I’d really appreciate the input. Thanks for reading.
LOLOriot9999 Posted April 16, 2025 #2 Posted April 16, 2025 Just wager the bonus bro. Vault your deposit money. There's a lot to wager though.

I deposited 450 and won 2200. I'm essentially forced to forfeit my winnings, which is why I don't think that shit should fly. 55k to wager is literally mental.

It depends on the terms of the bonus. Whether sticky or non-sticky. In this case, it appears that you have to wager through unless the terms clearly provide otherwise. In hindsight, you should have asked support before any gameplay after seeing the bonus. But since you played through, you will now be bound by the terms of the bonus. So I think, it's crucial to ask for support for the terms of the bonus.
mesenecal86 Posted May 10, 2025 #6 Posted May 10, 2025 I've found wagering through deposits to go pretty quickly playing games like dice and limbo ... while keeping risk lower. Best of luck.
nirob0007 Posted May 20, 2025 #7 Posted May 20, 2025 Sorry to hear that. But when you activate a bonus, firstly your de deposited money will be used.
