Mlc Posted October 5, 2018 #1 Posted October 5, 2018 have you ever heard of the saying take it with a pinch of salt meaning it will taste a little bitter but accecpt and move on ? i wonder how many stake users can truly relate to that when they lose. does change your entire attitude or can you take the hit and move on. ive seen users in chat give an angry shout , me included when we bust all our coins but like myself we can laugh it l off because we know and accept that playing in a casino is a gamble . so can you take it with a pinch of salt or are you a bitter loser!
Seuntjie Posted October 5, 2018 #2 Posted October 5, 2018 Take it with a pinch of salt means to not completely believe something. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/take-sth-with-a-pinch-of-salt For example: I heard donald trump is bald, but I read it on the onion, so take it with a pinch of salt.
williamshennie9 Posted October 5, 2018 #3 Posted October 5, 2018 You should only gamble with what you are comfortable to lose. If you gamble with the expectation of making a profit, you are in for a big shock. The odds are stacked against you in any casino.
