wry Posted October 5, 2018 #1 Posted October 5, 2018 I took the time to read the latest blog post from Stake: https://medium.com/@stakecasino/quality-of-life-changes-blackjack-fight-for-the-faucet-and-the-preparation-for-a-new-game-launch-fba140d589a3 It had a lot of useful information in it about nerfing the faucet, which I get, and some other changes. One of the most interesting ones was the adoption of New Jersey rules for blackjack. They are detailed here, including a basic strategy chart: http://www.vidpoker.com/blackjack/atlanticcity/index.htm These rules help players by allowing us to spit any pair (always split aces and eights) and requiring the dealer to stand on soft 17. Go players! While I don't always agree with what Stake does I do really appreciate them talking about and explaining their actions as much as possible.
williamshennie9 Posted October 5, 2018 #2 Posted October 5, 2018 I'm loving these medium posts that Stake is creating! They are fun to read and super informative
David Posted October 5, 2018 #3 Posted October 5, 2018 New rules suck a little, but understandable seeing as house edge was only 0.4%. Are there any player advantages in new BJ rules over old ones? On the bright side I agree with shennie, great for stake to keep us informed with these changes :D
