I've personally never played in ghost mode before, I don't get why you would, unless you are wagering super high amounts and you don't want people begging you for tips. Are there any other reasons why some people prefer ghost mode? I would love to hear your reasons
Etude Posted October 10, 2018 #2 Posted October 10, 2018 Hi everyone, so do you often play under ghost mode and if you do why so ? 👻 Personally I often have ghost mode switch on to remain anonymity during gameplays in order to avoid potential bet stalking by whoever that may do so (no fingers being pointed at). 🙄 This does sometimes cause a little bit of inconvenience when showing a bet id in chat as the username when Ghost mode is enable shows "Anonymous" but that is no big deal at all. All being said I feel this indeed a great implementation by Stake team to provide extra privacy during gaming.

Maybe when I move up to the high rollers where I bet big I'm going to turn ghost mode on to keep the passives/beggars at bay.

jinz Posted October 10, 2018 #14 Posted October 10, 2018 I don't play with big bets so I don't need to turn on the ghost mode to get away with the beggars and most of the time when the forum challenge is a bit hard to achieve (like the diamond poker 5 reds that took me 4 days to hit) it would be inconvenience to turn on/off that thing so that my bet would qualify.

I was pissed about it because I have to do it again. After that incident, I never turn on the ghost mode 🤣

And I'm a minute late to make Bojana's point that I have to turn it off a lot for forum challenges 😛 But the rainbot likes to show when I'm playing, would be sooo grateful if rb would also say hidden when raining someone in ghost mode

I am normally just sick of people coming in my private messages asking for loans and for tips.. I get sicken by it. This is indeed a great implantation by stake itself, which is really helpful. Because when i do win quite big sums, it's always better that people think that it's not me, to not cause inconvenience and also to not make them jealous, or just breaking the friendship because of the money. People watch everything. lol And I've found that if I don't enable it, how little/big I am betting becomes a topic of conversation in chat. It distracts me when I am playing, so I go 'incognito'.
