dmbadillo10 Posted October 7, 2018 #1 Posted October 7, 2018 Heya guys, How's everyone? Hope you guys are having a great time! Just wanted to spill out some thoughts, and of course ask yours as well. This is going to be about a person's attitude towards other people that he or she interacts with. We are all communicating through internet, and this generation is well knowledgable on how internet works. We meet and greet with people that we only see in pictures. Sometimes, not their real pictures at all. (Lol.) We start to know the person, under a user name, uniquely created to show identity. Meaning to say, we speak and interact with people that we don't really know. This kinda normal nowadays, again, because we now live on the world of internet. Our webiste, which we play on, is consist of people worldwide, on different languages so to speak. We make friends, talk and goof around on the chat room. There will be times that you will notice some ruckus going on on the chat room, between 2 players, or sometimes even more. Even worst, in groups. Sometimes, a player picks on another player, and the pandemonium starts ending with chaos on the room. Even so, that we don't see or know the person or the player personally, I believe that attitude towards a fellow player is an essential to maintain good relationship with others on to keep the gameplay healthy. Let me list down some of the things that I believe that would be the Pros and Cons of having a good and bad attitude towards a person on a gambling site, or most likely, on any other sites that has a communication channel: Showing a good attitude: It will establish good relationship with others. It will create a healthy environment all around the site. You'll have good friends to talk with on your rest time. Conversations on chat would be more fun. There will be less chance of you, getting banned or muted. You'll have a clean reputation as a player on the said site. Showing a bad attitude: Less people to talk with you. Your reputation is tarnished due to the bad mouthing. You'll just be stressed out, as no one wants to talk with and no one likes you. You'll create a bad influence to others, most likely new comers and will replicate your bad attitude. Will lead you to eventually, leaving the site, getting muted, worst, getting banned for bad words and arguing with others. These are just the things that passed through my mind. You can leave a comment if have any other things to add. At the end of the day, ATTITUDE matters. In the office, in the school, at the resto, on any other place.. Even on an online gambling site too.

But back to the topic, I agree. Having a good and positive attitude makes others like you, both online and in real life. I can't stand those people in the chat who constantly complain, say sad day, always post losing bets etc. It frustrates me to no end. We need more positivity in the community.

They channel negative vibes, and sometimes starts the fire, which leads to chaos on the chat room. Better ignore and stay away from the trolls. That will at least lessen the negativity. 😉

Let's see if some of the support staff respond, and hopefully others can give their thoughts on this matter too
Mlc Posted October 7, 2018 #6 Posted October 7, 2018 I love this post , attitude is important ,i know cant be bothered talking to some with a shitty attitude that will in the get me annoyed , I can turn a blind eye to a certain amount of negativity but i prefer like most do to have a laugh relax ,play the games . Each of us have an individual personality and often people clash or disagree with each other , that's to be expected . But going back to what was said above , purposefully hanging around chat and trying to start shit with other users is not acceptable , There is nothing to gain by being negative except for a well deserved mutecoin ( which are free and plentiful btw ) and a likely a spot on most users ignore list. Most stake users are great , i have made friends with heaps of people on here , my advice would be do the same , i would rather smile than frown all day long , 😀

I tend to ignore or congratulate them depending on my day. Fights between players on chat deserve Mutecoins on both ends if situations can't be resolved. PM is there for a reason and it takes being an adult to resolve problems. Those that can't resolve problems respectively do not reserve any rights to a mutual friendship. I personally think that the ignore list is here to protect players but it unfortunately is still used in a bad way as well. All I can say is respect everyone and do not cause trouble, if players cause you trouble, don't show your feelings and just put them on your ignore list for 1 week so they know that your not prepared to discuss about it etc. I do this and after 1 week, I normally get the apology I want and we draw a line. Exactly. Just ignore the trolls. Then they will have that hint that you're not interested to waste time and effort on them.
blueprints Posted October 7, 2018 #8 Posted October 7, 2018 I agree with you and I think this is a good post on the topic! Having a positive attitude not only makes it more enjoyable of a stay for you, but also for everyone else. And if you ever see anyone negative in chat, don't let them ruin your time. Just ignore them, its but one click away. And for all you passive begging people, the best way to passive is just have a positive good attitude!

Ignore button is the key. Hahahaha. Let's all stay positive to create and maintain a healthy environment.
irawk0 Posted October 7, 2018 #10 Posted October 7, 2018 Ignore button has certain drawbacks though, such as being confused when a 2 sided convo looks like one person talking to himself to you. I much prefer reporting any toxicity I deem over the top to staff. Hopefully over the course of the next few mutes, someone can learn the benefits of not spewing poison all the time.

Somehow, correct. I think Moderators should be able to take care of toxic people in chat too.
