williamshennie9 Posted October 7, 2018 #1 Posted October 7, 2018 Hey everyone I was shocked when I went onto Stake today to see the faucet being reduced to 5 satoshis. I think @Kate prediction of the faucet being phased out is finally coming true. I mean, I know the point of the faucet is to test games out for new users, but on most of the games, you can do a zero bet, so this actually renders the faucet useless (if that's what is purpose is intended for). We may as well scrap the faucet and add a "0" chip to roulette and baccarat, and then new users can test out the games without needing a faucet to begin with. What are your thoughts? It 5 satoshis good enough to test games out, or should we just scrap the faucet all together?

But these kind gestured giveaways by the stake team really do account for the losses you could have gained on the faucet. But I personally don't think it adds up. The staff have been more then kind to give so much away at once. I believe it will be 5 satoshi and then 0, they won't bother in the end or it might even be 5 sats and that's it, you can't get less or more. I'm not sure what the staff have in mind. Lol, I personally think it will go down to 1 satoshi claim every 3 minutes

Just don't understand why they don't get rid of it now? But at the end of the day it was a good choice from the Admins. I do agree with you, but at the same time, you can say the same thing about 5 sats. What's the point of a faucet that gives you 5 sats? They should remove it since it is being abused. It is easier than having to constantly lower it every few days.

Mlc Posted October 7, 2018 #7 Posted October 7, 2018 Great idea , close the faucets down have a play coin introduced , could even have it where if wagered enough can be exchanged for litecoin or something Stake give a lot away already with the rainbot and challenges , rollhunt and trivia, i think its important to remember its a casino , to play and earn a profit your gonna have to deposit , if you want a faucet go find a faucet site , simple as that , there are heaps of faucet sites out there to get free coins from. that's my opinion not sure if anyone would agree with me but there you have it anyway 😋
lolipant Posted October 7, 2018 #8 Posted October 7, 2018 problem with play coin strat is it isn't really draw people in, it serve a purpose as a token to test the game yes, but it won't attract people interested in site since it isn't real stake give a lot of free money but that's it, it only affected someone who already in the community, not someone new
