Really controversial thought, want to know what yall thinka bout this as some like to double but some like to just hit and be safe In some specific game rules (like no doubling after split, or H17 vs. S17), it might be close, but 99% of standard strategy charts say double 11 vs. 10.  An 11 is the strongest doubling hand—you can’t bust with one card, and you have high odds of hitting 21 or something close.

Fair point. Doubling 11 vs. 10 is a strong mathematical choice, but I understand why some players play it safe. It depends on your risk tolerance and the specific table rules. I would double it as it's about long-term EV, not just one hand. Playing scared costs more over time, and it's worked more times than not for me.
