badger Posted October 9, 2018 #1 Posted October 9, 2018 I am only writing this post because I read the recent ‘is there a better strategy’, by Wisperer. Again, I was shocked at the replies. This isn’t going to be Baccarat 101 with Badger, syk, but I hope it helps. I don’t care for baccarat. I have played it, but it’s boring, to me, I don’t waste my time. This doesn’t mean I haven’t taken the time to fully understand the game, in case, you know, I ever have to play. Yes, Pinkie, the Banker has an advantage. This goes unnoticed by most players. But once you know that there is an advantage, you need to know what that advantage is and how it affects your decision of being the Player or the Banker. The only thing you can do to truly help your game is fully understand the numbers. Which is kind of complex and confusing. Especially if you play irl, where the commission and pays vary by casino. I’m not going to go in to all of the numbers, I don’t want to waste our time. The Banker makes all the rules that are followed in Baccarat. The Player hand has to follow the Bankers rules. In the end, the advantage the Banker has is he doesn’t have to hit when he has a winning hand. Think of it like Blackjack. The dealer must hit soft 17, or soft 16, I think, at Stake. But if say, the dealer shows a 4, so you stand on 12, if the dealer turns over a jack, for a total of 14, if this were the rules like Baccarat, they would just win with 14. In Blackjack, they would have to hit. Being able to win, without having to hit unless you are losing, is huge. And in Baccarat, it’s enough to give the Banker so much of an advantage, they charge a 5% commission per win, to let you be able to be the Banker. It should really be 4%, but it is 5%, which makes the House edge 1.06% or 2.06%. Anyway, either way, very boring game. Except when you throw the tie in, and only when you throw the tie in is this game even remotely not boring. Still not fun enough for me to play. But when there is a tie, you get paid 8:1. Now, ties only happen 1 out of every 10 hands, roughly. And the house advantage is some sick number like 14%. So the only way I will play this lovely game, is placing my bet as the Banker, and placing a bet on the tie, 1/4 of my bet as the Banker. So if I have bet 20 on the main hand, I’ll put 5 on the tie and hope for a tie. When the hand ties, neither player loses, and your bet is returned. So you only lose the tie bet when there is no tie. And when you win the tie bet, you don’t lose your bet you placed on the Banker. And, uh, I don’t like to place sucker bets or worse, be a sucker, so uh, I don’t play Baccarat. The End
irawk0 Posted October 9, 2018 #2 Posted October 9, 2018 Damn this sounds complicated af. I'm making sure I don't play it unless necessary to chase forum challenge then. Same with blackjack it's common sense to know dealer has a HUGE advantage on you, but didn't realize how big of an edge it actually was. Tyvm for explaining
lolipant Posted October 9, 2018 #3 Posted October 9, 2018 for me: i look at each game as a pure number, baccarat is one of the worst game on site imo let's say we group the game on stake as the following (if you don't use auto-bet): 1. fixed chance fixed payout (customizable or not): diamond poker*, baccarat*, dice, roulette* this meant the game that, you bet for a certain multiplier, and with a certain chance to get it for example: on dice you bet with 49.5% to get 2x payout, on roulette you bet with 18/37 to get 2x payout, on baccarat (tie for example) you bet with about 9.5% to get 8x payout (you get the idea, that the rate won't change once you start playing the game) among them dice is the best due to the customizable of payout and chance, also have the lowest house edge. baccarat is kinda a re-skin of dice and have higher edge in any side you pick * can also be a various payout if you bet on at least two side 2. fixed chance various payout: wheel, plinko, keno this is the game where, each multiplier have a certain chance to it, and from one bet, it is possible to hit one of them 3. various chance, various payout: hilo, chartbet, mines this is the game where, the chance to win change while you're playing, the more risk you take during the play, the higher payout, you can choose to stop at any point while playing 4. various chance, fixed payout: blackjack this is the only one game that doesn't have a fixed house edge, where the chance to win is entirely up to the player, how he play will affected the game in the long run
Etude Posted October 22, 2018 #4 Posted October 22, 2018 Uhn very in depth discussions about Bacarrat I see here by enthusiasts.
KiXxnTRiXx Posted February 3, 2019 #6 Posted February 3, 2019 pure luck indeed.. its all automated, same as plinko, keno and so on.. you really have limited control on how the outcome wil be, it all depends on pure luck and hope for the system/game to be nice and giving!
niki014 Posted February 4, 2019 #7 Posted February 4, 2019 Baccarat, The Game Of Pure Luck, Lmao the title says it all baccarat aint the game for me i dont like it at all x)
FotisNt Posted February 4, 2019 #8 Posted February 4, 2019 Well, I totally experienced stuff like that with baccarat, so that's why I came up hating its gamemode. Guess the only way which could make me play on baccarat would be those challenges.
coeghacked Posted February 12, 2019 #9 Posted February 12, 2019 for me, I use this baccarat game only to increase the number of bets and waggered on my account because the risk of lose is only 0.02% if we place bets on bankers and players
Kate Posted February 13, 2019 #10 Posted February 13, 2019 Baccarat is a very hard game to win and a very complicated game indeed but that's the fun about it even though it makes you bust a lot it makes your mind use it's power and not sit idle but for me i like sitting idle so i don't play it that much and In Fact I think baccarat is one of my least played games i am not so sure but i guess so. Wheel is even much better than Baccarat in my opinion.

Yes there is the added option of betting on tie but it’s kind of useless since no one has ever recommended that you do that!
FotisNt Posted May 23, 2019 #12 Posted May 23, 2019 its all automated, same as plinko, keno and so on. this is the game where, each multiplier have a certain chance to it, and from one bet, it is possible to hit one of them
htetaungxx Posted May 26, 2019 #13 Posted May 26, 2019 i dont know how to play card game.. so i played baccarat for one times for telegram challenge i should try to baccarat later
FotisNt Posted May 26, 2019 #14 Posted May 26, 2019 Yeah, pure luck til you get these 20 losses in a row..xD yeah personal experience, many times tho..
polor12 Posted May 28, 2019 #15 Posted May 28, 2019 bacarrat is also skill game.. all card games are skilled games,..on the way you bet can make up a lose to a low and have your profits up,,, meaning you will be afford to lose a few hands that wouldn't stop you making a good profit... and you can break even... or win 8x.. is all about the betting... if i can explain it even more i would be here all day.. but bacarrat is really a good game to play..
williamshennie9 Posted May 28, 2019 #16 Posted May 28, 2019 I will agree with this one. There is no real strategy involved, besides using statistics to predict who will win (the player or the banker). Other than that, there is no way to increase your chances of winning.
