Honestly, I think dogs are more loyal and fun, but my religion doesn’t allow me to keep them in the house. I also think it wouldn’t be fair to keep them outside.

As for cats, I think they’re a bit too independent and lazy. They always do their own thing  and I don’t want to have to adjust my life around a cat. That’s basically what girlfriends already do anyway, right? 😂 No need for a second one!

If I had to choose, I’d go with dogs, but right now I’m struggling to take care of myself, let alone take on the responsibility of another living being.

Each have a unique set of traits to offer when choosing a pet for adoption. Grew up mostly having dogs around, very friendly animals to care for! Cats seem very mysterious and my inexperience with having one as a companion makes me interested to adopt one nowadays.
