Kate Posted October 10, 2018 #1 Posted October 10, 2018 Coinfloor a well UK based crypto exchange with a good Market cap has just fired a lot of employees from the firm. The CEO of Coinfloor is saying that they have done this mainly to remove the employees who are not really that competitive and wants to add more employees with fresh new talents. They are trying to restructure their firm and wants to be a very competitive firm. Well this is sad and good in a way. Good means more new people will know about cryptos sad is because the fired employees have to search for another job What are your views on this firing ? williamshennie9 Posted October 10, 2018 #2 Posted October 10, 2018 I'm not sure what the labor laws are, but in my country, you can't just fire someone. You have to give a fair reason as to why you fired that employee, and the employee can sue the employer for unfairly firing them. I guess the laws are different in the UK?
Etude Posted October 10, 2018 #3 Posted October 10, 2018 This is a terrible to happen for for those mentioned who lost their means of earning. It is I suppose the culture of a corporate company to see just about anyone as dispensable when necessary to the circumstances.
