Stake.com Site Refreshes Every 10-15 Min (2 AM–7 AM CEST) for 6+ Weeks

Hey everyone,

I need to vent and get some input from the community. For at least the past 6-7 weeks, I’ve been dealing with constant site refreshes on Stake.com during my sessions, specifically between 2 AM and 7 AM CEST (Europe time). These refreshes happen every 10-15 minutes, often in the middle of a session, even when I have autobet running. It’s beyond frustrating, and I’m starting to question what kind of casino behaves like this.

Here’s what’s happening:

-I’m playing slots or other games, and the site randomly reloads without warning.

-It’s especially suspicious because it often happens right when I start hitting something decent. Boom, refresh, and I’m back to square one. Autobet gets interrupted, and I end up losing more than I should.

-After the refresh, I’m somehow hitting only reds until I bust. Coincidence? I’m not so sure.

-This isn’t a browser issue. I’ve tried different browsers and devices, and the problem persists. My internet is rock-solid, so Stake can’t pin this on me.

-I’ve seen tons of other players in the Stake chat complaining about the same issue during these hours. This isn’t just me— it’s been a hot topic in chat for weeks, but support doesn’t seem to care.

I’ve reached out to Stake’s support, but I’m getting generic responses like “it’s your device” or “update your browser.” I’m not buying it. A casino of Stake’s size shouldn’t be having these “technical issues” for 6+ weeks straight, especially at the same time every night. And if this is maintenance, where’s the heads-up? No communication, no transparency. It feels like they’re disrupting sessions on purpose, especially when things start going my player’s way.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Have you noticed the site refreshing during 2 AM–7 AM CEST? What’s your take—is this normal for a casino, or is something fishy going on? I’m considering escalating this to their Curaçao license regulator if it doesn’t stop, but I want to hear from the community first. Any advice on getting Stake to take this seriously?

YES!!! EVERY FUCKING TIME I am hitting, or on a streak 'BAM' my page freezes and it reloads and my bet is changed to $0. So I put my bet amount back to where it was and then I end up losing it quickly. It is happening more and more every day. Mine happens throughout the day all day, not specific hours. I am also sus about it. Just like when I play a slot that has a 98% rtp and I bet the extra to get the better chances at bonuses and never get a bonus after hundred and hundreds sometimes a thousand spins and only win $20 the entire time. Yesterday I counted 632 spins before I got a somewhat decent win. But no bonus, even though I click the button on to have higher chances. And it's a 98.8 rtp. It's bullshit.

I also have an issue with the statistics and how I think we are being jipped there too. I was at 99,687 weekly wager and was trying to get the 100,000 wager bonuses, so I play for an hour and I know I am well above 100k now playing $5 a turn, but for some reason I still am not eligible for the bonus, so I request my stats (for the 6th time today-supposedly they are supposed to be updated every 24 hours like they say under the statistics) and my weekly play is all of a sudden 90,487?? How is that possible?

Of course everytime I contact the AI support team they give me the same verbatim answer everytime...they aren't able to see the statistics information, only marketing is, and obviously I haven't played the weekly amount. So I went back and looked at the stats over a 24 hr period...I went from 107,865 at 5:30am today, to 96,203 at 7:21am, to 98,793 at 12:37pm, to 99,680 at 12:57pm, to 90,487 at 3:52pm, to just a few mins ago 90,402 at 4:02pm! How in 20 mins did I go from 99k to 90k and then in 10 mins go from 90,487 to 90,402 if the stats are updated every 24 hours?

So when I question the AI asshats in customer support wtf is going on and how is that possible, they show me the same dumbass image of a weekly wager example and again try to example it to me.

I understand how the goddamn thing works. MY issue is why is my shit changing throughout the day within minutes if the stats are updated every 24 hrs like they say? And why does my day and weekly drop but my fortnight and monthly will be higher than it was a few hours prior on the same damn day? Like this for example..yesterday on the 28th at 5:53pm my stats for SC were this 

Then at 11:37pm 

My day and weekly wager went down, even though I had played in between that time, but my fortnight and monthly went up!! Like what in the fuckity-fucking-fuck is going on here? Maybe I am just a complete dumbass and can't understand what is actually happening, but I don't think so. I can do simple math. 

And you can't get anywhere with their customer service. I just couldn't understand why I was able to get a $25 bonus for a 100k wager one minute and just a  minutes later on the same day I wasn't eligible to get the $150 100k wager they had come up bc I hadn't made the "weekly requirement"? And when I was able to get the $25 bonus, my stats were only saying 99,687. 

It just aggravates the shit out of me. As much money as I have put into Stake and they try and do sneaky ass shit like this, so we can't be eligible for bonuses, or they interrupt our playing when we are winning and we either have to refresh ourselves, or the page reloads and everything is reset to zero and them we end up all of a sudden not being able to hit any fucking thing and lose it all.

I am not unaware and oblivious to the fact that they can change the games anytime they want and increase and decrease our odds and the house has the edge...I read the fine print. I just hate fucking cheating and sneaky people and businesses. We already get fucked enough in life by the IRS with taxes and the government with their shady and quietly passed policies they don't talk about (I'm in America btw). Why does Stake have to do shit like that?

I will end up usually spending a lot of my wins back on games because I enjoy playing and winning, and most people do the same thing! I just don't get the greed in people.

I am going to get to platinum 4 this week sometime and after that, I think I'm dropping Stake and barring myself from it.

We've been discussing this issue in the Norwegian chat for nearly a year now. It's incredibly frustrating and seems to occur whenever you click on something—whether it's a bet ID or the betting graph.

 The Norwegian chatmoderator b4ng brought it up with Eddie on stream about a month ago. Eddie explained that it’s likely due to the site being updated in real time. Instead of shutting down the entire platform for a few hours like many other companies do during maintenance, they’ve chosen to handle it this way.

I can confirm this as well  auto-refresh scripts on gambling sites are more than just shady. Many Stake users have noticed and confirmed the same behavior.

Auto-refresh is definitely a Stake-implemented script  not a browser, device, or network issue. Even without any clicks, it happens automatically. When the page refreshes, your session ID or RNG seed may reset, which can intentionally or unintentionally drop you into a worse payout pattern. There’s likely backend manipulation or shadow profiling: Stake tracks player behavior and adjusts outcomes  especially for users known to chase losses.

At first it seems super tinfoil and people all "claim" the games go through rigorous testing to be fair and maybe they do but you can't tell me someone somewhere that has a vested interest in the players losing doesn't have some way of accessing the servers or something like that. I play dice quite a bit and I used to use the custom script because it was useful but I noticed after a couple hours of playing I go from turning $20 into $2000+ and then losing about 800 consecutive games... Chalk it up to RNG I guess, what's funny is when I swap back to manual all of a sudden I start hitting again!

I religiously swap my seed also usually I try to go 500-1000 games before swapping but there's times when I swap it after 100 games multiple times in a row lol... Also I am sure EVERYONE has experienced increasing your bet and you lose non stop and the second you drop your bet low it hits every other spin... Again very suspicious but could be RNG. Also I just assumed it was all in my head but lately I have seen more and more people calling out suspicious feeling games but we won't ever have access to the actual server configs for these games so that's all it will remain is "suspiciously coincidentally in favor of the website".

 

Just to show you I wasn't joking I play dice A LOT I was even to the point of playing $8 a roll and winning $500+ every hit haha I am currently going through 1500 pages of my games from the other day to find those 300,400,500 wins I was hitting in dice and I'll post em.

It looks like stake has had a few patches, did they fix any of the issues listed above? On the contrary!

You have to be careful now when playing with hotkeys.
From Thursday to Saturday, the bet sometimes quadrupled when you tried to double it with a hotkey.

Did the players lose a lot of money? Yes! Has Stake given any form of refund? No! And why not?

Because it's supposedly all down to the users, all at the same time....   What a coincidence.

Now the bet size is partially reset to 0 as soon as you halve the bet twice. In addition, the bet size resets to 0 when you switch the game from manual to automatic.

It's getting really ridiculous Stake. Anyone who calls themselves a "leading cryptocasino" should perhaps at least make sure that the technical conditions work perfectly.

Official Report – Unexpected Page Reloads & Performance Issues on Stake

Dear Stake Team,

I would like to officially report an ongoing issue that has become increasingly frustrating. For some time now, whenever I click on someone's BadID in the chat, the entire page reloads automatically – without my intention, of course.

Notification counters (in brackets) no longer update, the bell icon doesn't work, and in general, the site seems to clog up the longer it's open – after 10, 20, 30 minutes or more, performance keeps degrading.

What's worse, these unexpected reloads happen randomly, without any user action. The session resets each time, and while this may or may not affect the current game or result, the fact that it happens completely unintentionally – not just for me but for many users – is unacceptable.

Especially after hours of active use, this becomes genuinely infuriating.
We're waiting for a fix.

Sehr geehrtes Team,

Ich möchte hiermit eine offizielle Meldung einreichen:
Seit einiger Zeit kommt es auf Stake zu einem sehr störenden Verhalten – beispielsweise wenn man auf ein BadID-Profil im Chat klickt, wird die gesamte Seite automatisch und ohne mein Zutun neu geladen.

Außerdem aktualisieren sich Benachrichtigungen (in Klammern) nicht mehr, das Glockensymbol funktioniert nicht. Generell scheint sich die Website im Verlauf von 10, 20, 30 Minuten oder mehr immer weiter „vollzulaufen“ – sie wird langsamer und instabiler.

Dieses Neuladen geschieht komplett unvorhersehbar und zufällig. Die Sitzung wird dabei zurückgesetzt, was zwar möglicherweise keinen direkten Einfluss auf das laufende Spiel oder Ergebnis hat – aber allein die Tatsache, dass es ohne jegliche Nutzerintention geschieht (und nicht nur bei mir!), ist absolut inakzeptabel.

Nach vielen Stunden aktiver Nutzung kann dieses Verhalten extrem frustrierend sein – es bringt einen regelrecht zur Weißglut.

Wir warten auf einen Fix.
