bitman007 Posted October 13, 2018 #1 Posted October 13, 2018 Hello Good Morning Friends; there is a news going for Nouriel Roubini's in Bloomberg if you watched. He did an almost impossible job of uniting the crypto community He is the person : when Bitcoin was $600: "Bitcoin is a scam! a ponzi scheme!" If you listened to him back then, you lost out on an investment opportunity with a 11x three-year return. His credibility declining faster than the price of Dentacoin. There is something in short of result . look at his incorrect claims about crypto in the past 72 hours: Bitcoin fee is $55 ($0.06 on @blockchain) Buterin is a billionaire (never held more than 0.9% of Ethereum) Crypto printed out of nowhere (PoW) If you attack an industry, at least have the face He also said crypto is mother of all scams.’ Where does this guy come from all of a sudden? Why aren’t we focusing on the scam the current fiat economy is instead of the beauty of blockchain? I guess it’s bear market style of media. $BTC ==>> I'm more bullish in crypto than ever after listening to Roubini and see how clueless he is, What your opinion Friends?
williamshennie9 Posted October 13, 2018 #2 Posted October 13, 2018 Anything that has value (any asset) can be used as a mechanism to scam. Crypto is definitely not a scam, it is just an intangible asset, which, like any assets, can be misused by unethical people
LilRip Posted October 13, 2018 #3 Posted October 13, 2018 I think all can be used for scam. One way is easier, one is harder.
nadiya14 Posted October 13, 2018 #4 Posted October 13, 2018 scams was since always just they found a way to scam people easier than ever in just one click!!!
Moderator luizoruivo Posted October 14, 2018 Moderator #5 Posted October 14, 2018 People without a sense of justice have always existed. To make scams is as old as money. To say that something that exists less than 20 years is the mother of something millenarian It's just like me saying that I am the father of my great-grandfather. Sensationalist media? Maybe something bigger? I can not say.
Etude Posted October 14, 2018 #6 Posted October 14, 2018 I don't look at it as a mother of a scams, but as a useful tool that provides many benefits and has a value attached to it which flunctuates between high and low. As many tools, there are always certain people that choose to misuse cryptocurrencies to scam others for their own selfish benefits.
ceastem Posted October 14, 2018 #7 Posted October 14, 2018 Yes crypto can be used for scams but there were a lot more scams before and a lot of people get scammed before too cause they are naive or clueless. They do not think that this online money cannot be taken from them by clicking or downloading extensions. Trust me, never install anything from the web except if you know it is trusted. I already heard from my work before about people's data being gathered from a simple download and installation.
