If you are mining from  the luxury of your home it looks like you will be losing money as electricity and hardware are more expensive and everyone is getting pushed out by institutes that are on a bigger scale with cheaper electricity and so on.

Gone are the days that you would get free BTC so easily according to data from Diar, a blockchain and data analytics firm who have surveyed this ..

Are you making money from your mining please let us know ??

I was thinking of mining at home then looked at the cost of equiptment, and I was like NTY I'd rather use that money to buy a car or something lmao. I'll leave the mining to places with cheap labor and electricity.

I have heard and also logically Bitcoin mining rigs consumes way too much in term of electricity to be profitable for the masses who tries to jump into Bitcoin mining this late of a stage in the game. Most likely the electricity bill alone would be an extreme shocking amount in order to run the Bitcoin mining rig(s) effectively.

It can be profitable these days cause i heard they are running it in solar power somewhere in our country. But other than that not anymore. Also the rate of return of investment is quite long especially if you only own one or two mining rigs.

So yeah it is definitely not profitable at home now. It would have been profitable if you know that it will not devaluate over the years but its price is almost close to unpredictable which might cause you to never see the return for your investment in the coin. But who knows, every investment in themselves has their own risks.

There's always one other option guys.....

We could all set up our own commune on a mountain somewhere...

with turbines for electricity, and mining rigs...

except that then we would be an entire commune of gamblers. trying to live off of mined crypto.  which seems kinda doomed.

so yeah.....no mining for us.
