How much profit to stop gambling?

I am just curious with some players on this question, as I see a lot of players won a decent amount of coins, and instead of withdrawing, they play more and bust it all in the end. Maybe some are aiming for more wins or are really compulsive gamblers.

What is the amount of bitcoins or any other coins will make you stop gambling? Is 1 bitcoin enough for you or are you aiming for more?

I'm a target setting sort of guy personally, and it depends on how much I am depositing; on a large deposit I may only want to 1.5-2x my money, but on a smaller one I usually go for 10-20x.

But we have all in the past gone to the point where we feel invincible, then bust and really wish we had withdrawn.

If I hit 1 bitcoin I would strongly consider quitting gambling.

After winning a good amount, the wise decision to make is to withdraw. There is no fixed number that will make anyone stop gambling as most are gambling for the fun and the excitement that gambling brings. If they happen to achieve that fixed number too, they will most likely gamble again too. Personally seen a lot that have done that already.

People normally quit when its no longer fun but rarely does anyone quit then hit a certain fixed goal.

This is really ideal to win more often, but sometimes, people gets greedy thinking that it is their lucky day, so they aim to play more to have more profits but busted instead. Control is really needed in gambling.

1.5-2x of our money is easy to say than done  because when greed strikes, bust happens.

I'm targeting 2x my money but it depends on how much I am depositing; on a large deposit I usually 2x my money, but on a smaller deposit I try to do 5-10x.

Also as David said, If I hit 1 bitcoin I will strongly consider quitting gambling for a long time :)

I partially cashout a lot of the time, so the actual cashout part I surprisingly don't find that difficult. It's telling myself not to redeposit what I've won once I bust the rest that's a challenge

I honestly don't think I'ld ever stop at a certain amount. I'm not gambling to reach this certain amount, I'm gambling to have fun and relax sometimes so if I win like 10 btc I'll cash it out but still gamble xD

I'm in the same boat as Snike. I'll gamble to pass the time as an entertainment, and withdraw if I really needed it or reached like 0.1 btc. I'll be back on this site tho lol, probably having fun with Doge after that or chasing a challenge.

I think a 1 Bitcoin win for this year if achievable would be a huge first milestone for me. As gambling goes, there is never enough profit since you would desire more and more for sure especially when you start to feel lucky.

Then maybe find a way to somehow lock your wallet?:P So you wont redeposit more after a good win:)

It is achievable for a year yes, with good balance and discipline of course :)

If  I can make 0.2BTC profit I will stop it! But it depends on the person, If he/she is rish of course they want to make big profits like 1-5BTC Just like @Sam9597 He is not stopping even if he already made 1BTC!

In my own opinion, there's really no end point for a gambler to stop.

I mean, a good example is what you mentioned above. Those high rollers who wins a lot in one go, but still comes back for more instead of withdrawing. Its either they dont have limits, or the money they are playing is just excess money for them.

On the other hand, if a player has a certain goal, then that would be an end point. For example, you have a 500k sats bank roll, and you only wanna triple it, then you'll stoo at 1.5mil sats whatever happens. Cash it out and convert it to fiat. That's something that needs to be practiced, in order for it to become a habit. 😊

As I had realized that it just makes me bust everytime I go for too high percentage of my deposit. But now a days it’s fine for me to atleast make at 2-3x of the deposted amount per day.

Maybe his goal is 1000 btc:D

Which is I believe is very possible for him to achieve.

Seems more like he just enjoys the feeling of making a large bet and the thrill that comes along when selecting a decision for the bet itself rather than going for profit.

Yea. Not only him, some of the players that has a lot to play with. That feeling and the thrill of wagering a huge amount is always there. Counterpart feeling for us is, we could've kept those coins that they bet. 😂😂😂

I always make my mind to think what should I buy, that's how to stop gamble.
If you thinking about your goal, you would withdraw.
But if your goal is too high, sometimes make you busted or winning (it's 50:50)

Well, in gamble.. you cant predict those.
Depends on persons, you would profiting or busted.

(Speaking of experience after busted so many times)

I’d never stop , if I won like 20 Btc or something I’d probably only withdraw half, whats the point in withdrawing all only to come back tomorrow and deposit again , reason being, I love playing on stake so I wouldn’t stop playing and empty account if I won big ,
