Ripple want to make a cryptocurrency Olympiad 2020

On the global platform Change.org, a petition appeared in which they collect signatures for the introduction of Ripple (XRP) cryptocurrency for the upcoming Olympics 2020.

At the time of writing, 13703 signatures from 15 thousand have already been collected.

“As the flow of tourists into the country, the demand for local currency grows significantly, creating long queues in currency exchange offices. This has already happened with past events in Beijing in 2008 and Rio de Janeiro in 2016. Cheating exchange rates and linguistic barriers only exacerbate the situation, ”the petition says.

The upcoming 2020 Olympics will be held in Japan, Tokyo.

The opening will take place on July 24, 2020.
