So many people I know are addicted to gambling and it's tough. I know because I was at a point too.

I have started wasting so much time just sitting in front of my laptop gambling and if nothing, waiting to get tipped so i can gamble. I have reduced a lot from earlier but I really need to imporve still. Stake's community helps me stay happy though!

I waste alot of time gambling but I would not say Im addicted as I always keep track of my balance and play smart (almost always) but well yeah, addiction sucks and you just have to try and get out of it in time or you might lose everything

Thanks for the warning, I already stopped to deposit real life money. So this guide makes me remember my big gamble before. 

I was ripping 500$ before in skin (CS:GO and DOTA 2), and that is my last betting so i would stopped.

I know of people at my local casino who sold their house to gamble. Gambling addiction can be extremely dangerous if you don't get help.

i know a method to stop gambling online. give me your laptop/phone and i assure you i won't let you gamble with it haha

anyways it is very easy to get addicted with gambling especially if you win on first months or weeks. without knowing that you will then lose on the following weeks or months. 

addiction to gambling is bad, but i think that's where i am headed haha. its your fault stake!

Tbh, if you want to help people that addicted on gambling, the person must want to stop too. If the person don't want to stop, it will be useless.

I think anyone here on Stake who is a 'regular' knows exactly how dangerous gambling addiction can be.  

Unfortunately, the majority of people don't truly view it as a problem until it has gone to their detriment. 

What I have learned is to set defined limits and stick to them, no matter how badly you want to break your own rules.

Yes its happen to me. when i get addicted i got so many probs

the example is busting in 2 minutes, i depo again, and bust again

I totally agree with you TKO!if you are too addicted yourself or if you know someone who has it even if he assures you that no, if you think he needs help or you! contact the green numbers available everywhere for example at the entrance of tobacco bars or casinos or on the internet! do not let the game swallow all that you have!I have a very good friend of mine who fell seriously into sports betting at first it was abuse he was slamming half his salary in there, and then all his salary and then his wife's and then he made a credit of 40,000 euros and then finally instead of stopping!he stole checks with huge sums from his grandparents who lost all those who made his grandpa's heart stop, shame and depression we ended up having my buddy!peace to his soul!   Romain 1986-2011!thank you all and sorry for the blow!

Even if you win spending too much time gambling is another problem. Keeps you away from other important things in your life.

hmm. I've been looking for reasons why I am addicted to gambling but still haven't got the reason. Thank you for discussing this, this topic really helped me in controlling myself

Lol thats definitely me ! i always delay my house job because of gambling.

gambling is so addicted especially when you win some money
