Mine has to be The Shawshank Redemption.

No matter how many times I watch it, it always hits. The story, the hope, the friendship—it’s just powerful. That final scene on the beach? Pure magic. 🎬🔥

The Shawshank Redemption is about a banker named Andy Dufresne who is convicted of murdering his wife and her lover and sent to Shawshank Prison for two life sentences. Despite claiming innocence, Andy faces a harsh and violent prison environment but befriends an inmate named Red who helps him cope. Over many years, Andy maintains hope, uses his banking skills to assist the prison, and secretly digs a tunnel to escape. He eventually flees to Mexico after exposing corruption in the prison, while Red, once released, reunites with Andy on a peaceful beach, symbolizing friendship, hope, and freedom

Sorry, it was so hard to pick just one. 😅

Two totally different types of movies, different vibes, but I’ve watched both so many times over the years — and I know I’ll keep rewatching them again and again ♥️🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s such an interesting question @JovanaI, and honestly, I feel every movie has its own charm depending on where it comes from and what mood you’re in. I’ve enjoyed films from all over—different regions of India as well as international ones—and I really believe each has something unique to offer.

If I had to pick just one though, my go-to would be Laila Majnu (the Hindi version of Romeo Juliet). I’ve always been a sucker for intense romances with bittersweet or tragic endings. Maybe it’s because I can relate to the pain and the depth of emotions in love stories like that—it just sticks with me no matter how many times I rewatch it.😅
