Etude Posted November 6, 2018 #28 Posted November 6, 2018 I think 100 posts is the requirememnt for Member level followed by 1000 for Hero Member if I am correct?

So, Valued Member (now VIP) is not based on number of posts. You get VIP status when 'promoted by staff'. Is there a prompt when a forum member can be considered for VIP?
jortdeut Posted November 9, 2018 #32 Posted November 9, 2018 Vip tag would be so cool, wish I had it 😀

You are welcome, happy to help always No, number of posts is looked at, but not of the crucial value. Some have a lot of posts that are pure spam, and some can have just over 100-200 posts and earn the VIP tag, because it is all about the quality and helpfulness to the community, not about the quantity
blueprints Posted November 10, 2018 #34 Posted November 10, 2018 If you want to get VIP, put effort into making helpful topics for the community. Put effort into making the topic organized and easy to understand what you think others should know about and how that would help them. Consider writing suggestions or explaining strategies. Giving advice on self control and being positive. Looks like staff is more aware on whats being posted then I thought. You will not go unnoticed! #bigbrotherwatching #gitparanoid #tapewebcam

These people helps in contributing to the community, they are topic starters and their posts really make sense, original and not just copied and pasted to take advantage of the forum's PPP. well now i just feel even worse about it.... it didnt bother me that much about not being a valued member (even though i didnt know exactly how to get to tthat status) it didnt really bother me much.. but since the name change to VIP, it makes me feel as if im or my posts arent good enough for the community to be a valued as the other users. idk, i dont like the change. its creates animosity or segregation more idk all yall vips have fun! keep up the good work..
