Mlc Posted October 21, 2018 #1 Posted October 21, 2018 Doge is not worth much i small amounts but when your using a blackdoor and hacking mining pools its a whole different story. Sophisticated and experienced online scammer uses multiple backdoors to lure Dogecoin holders. Scammers steal cryptocurrency by creating (replicating) fake Dogecoin mining pools and fake giveaway/rewards websites. sourcehttps://www.cryptoglobe.com/latest/2018/10/malicious-scammer-targets-10000-dogecoin-doge-users-russian-cybersecurity-firm-reported/
Etude Posted October 21, 2018 #2 Posted October 21, 2018 This sounds terrible! It is really unethical to steal other people's stuff especially with such a sneaky way!
77kdub Posted October 21, 2018 #3 Posted October 21, 2018 wow that sounds like a lot of work for pennies, but like they say every penny add's up lol 🤑
wry Posted October 21, 2018 #4 Posted October 21, 2018 Scammers gonna scam and no coin is immune. I've always liked Doge, it never took itself seriously and has become a crypto survivor. I guess the fact that scammers think it has enough value to steal corroborates that. Of course there is also a fun community around Doge that is probably especially vulnerable to scams. It's a shame.
AGreenleaf Posted October 21, 2018 #5 Posted October 21, 2018 I think dogecoin is a great addition to the site, I like to bet with higher amounts of crypto
williamshennie9 Posted October 22, 2018 #6 Posted October 22, 2018 It is sad to hear this, but I don't think it is only DOGE that is targeted. There are countless bitcoin scams as well, and I'm sure there are plenty more for other cryptos. We just have to be careful where we deposit our coins, and we should be safe
