Asking for help after account been hacked

Hi,

I’m dealing with a frustrating situation.

My Stake account has been hacked, the hacker activated 2F authenticator then put my account in Self exclusion.

After cooperating and providing all the information that the Support and Recovery emails on Stake sent me to prove my ownership of the account. Both emails replied to me I have to wait 6 months to have my account back. Despite me mentioning I didn’t activate it. The hacker did…

I’m writing and asking for help here because I don’t know what else to do, and I’m also afraid what the hacker might continue to do.

Please anyone know how I can get my account back please. I have proof of everything.

Contacted live support as well, they said write to the emails which keep responding I have to wait 6 months…

I bet you were mad, excluded yourself and now wanna gamble again. Keep in mind that they see your IP log

I wish, but I litterally got hacked, the hacker even tried to extort money from me to get my account back…

pudiste resolverlo ? porque me sucedio lo mismo alguien no solo me hackeo la cuenta, sino tambien emails y demas por lo que tengo prubas, hasta la cuenta de instagram me cerraron ! me gustaria saber si hay alguna posibilidad de recuperar mi cuenta

Hey, sorry to hear that! That’s really frustrating. Keep pushing support for a quicker resolution, and try asking to speak to someone higher up. Make sure to stress that the hacker did all that, not you. Also, double-check your email and linked accounts to be sure they’re secure.

Thanks for your answer, I did everything that you said, and the same answer comes up, I have to wait 6 months even though someone else did it, it doesn’t make sense… what should I do now?

If you are Indian, and want to withdraw your money because they are stuck due to self exclusion, just write an email to [email protected] saying that due to the new Gaming bill, gambling has be completely banned and stake can get ban aswell, if that happens, i wont be able to withdraw my money due to self exclusion and will lose the amount in it, so please let me withdraw the money. They will either just let you withdraw or ask to contact [email protected] to prove the ownership.

Hi @ndaaunhi Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I already tried everything you mentioned, but support still says I need to wait 6 months even though it wasn’t me who caused it. Honestly feels unfair, but I guess I don’t have any choice except to wait and keep my account secure in the meantime.
