Rewards for bug reports.

Stake offer's a bug bounty that you can claim when you report a bug which forces stake to make a change in their codings.

I think this is a smart move by stake to prevent people to exploit those bugs and rather report them and get a big reward for it.

Did you ever report an important bug/glitch that let you pick up the bounty? Who to contact if you think you found an big enough bug?

I've found quite a few bugs over the course of this year. They only give rewards for bugs which are "exploitable", and warrant an update to the code. So if you report a bug, and it gets fixed there no guarantee that you will get a reward. For the reporting part, I would make a forum post in the Questions, Complaints, Bugs section of the forum, since I've never got a reply from emailing [email protected] :)

Good luck with your report :D

I have never reported bugs as when I ave found a bug and go to post about it someone else already posted about it lol so I have never but I have found maybe 2-3 bugs! :)

i reported visual bug but did not get anything

You don't get paid for visual bugs, only bugs that are exploitable i.e. the player unfairly benefits from the bug, or Stake unfairly benefits from the bug :D

Ye, fixing the reported bugs seems to be a little issue here xD

No I have never found a bug but didn’t realize that you got a prize for it so this is good information.  Thank you !

I thought it would motivate some people to rather report the bugs than exploit them

That 100% depends on the bug, if the bug is like being able to predict the outcome you would make alot more exploiting than turning it in to the devs (I would not exploit but still people might)

That's great idea! Everyone Will help Some with bugs, but everyone Will report the same bug. Then its impossible to give everyone reward. If they Will pay for reporting bugs, they have to pay for good ideas to upgrade the site too! I like this idea and i hope they Will add smth like this.

@kuba122388 This is already on stake.

I found a bug, can I report and get rewarded for it?

Of course! Please submit it to us through our help system and select the “bug report” option. Once the bug/issue has been assessed by our team you may be eligible for an award based on severity and potential for abuse. We award for non-visual bugs that warrant an update to our code.
Please report any major vulnerabilities to [email protected]

Hiya folks! :)

We appreciate any bug report (visual and non-visual) since it helps us improve. When it comes to bug bounty, you may get one if you report an exploitable bug (non-visual one that warrants an update to our code). You can report it directly to us, the Support Team, or here on the forum in the Questions, Complaints, Bugs section or on the email: [email protected].

If you report it to us, we will forward it to our developers for a check and a fix. If the bug is exploitable, the developers will assess it and a bounty will be offered to you, depending on the vulnerability and severity.

When it comes to fixing of the reported issues, it may take some time since not all of the reported bugs are simple and easy to sort out.

You have misinterpreted the bug bounty incorrectly.

When it says forces/warrants a change in code, it means something that has to be actioned immediately as its an exploit. It doesnt mean that because there was a visual misinterpretation, or simply something didn't look right. If it is exploitable and needs immediate code fix, then it is handsomely rewarded. We have paid out over 10 BTC to a few people who have informed us of exploits, but we don't pay out anything else.

I have noticed a few people who have reported things that were eventually changed or fixed have been demanding payments because of your interpretation of what the bug bounty is about. There is a significant difference between a bug/exploit and a inconvenience or fix.

Lol, I reported a good bug to Stake, never saw a dime. It warranted a change in code. But thats fine.

Cg did pay me 0.02 Btc for a fix, which was cool because they didnt have to.

There are 2 I have not reported, but Im getting there, lol. Not at Stake.

Nope, i never report a bug before. As Dan said, bug bounty is not about visual misinterpretation or something like that.

I may have used the wrong words, sorry bout that. Obviously a visual bug doesn't deserve a bounty. Thanks for clearing this up! :)
