okin2o Posted September 17, 2025 #1 Posted September 17, 2025 Hello guys, I was wondering if someone happens to know how to calculate the RTP? My thoughts are: your wins / wagered amount * 100 + 100 = RTP Example: lost -11$ wagered 65$ -11 / 65 * 100 + 100 = 83% @KartenStapel ruthlessunruly and Oggy129 1 1
ruthlessunruly Posted September 17, 2025 #3 Posted September 17, 2025 (edited) Hey, almost! You’re really close, but there’s a small adjustment to make. The general formula is: RTP= Total Returned (wins/payouts) ________________________________________ * 100 Total wagered So in your case: Wagered = $65 Net result = –$11 → that means your total returned was $65 – $11 = $54 Now plug that in: RTP= 54 ______ * 100 = 83,1% 65 So the correct RTP is ~83%. Your formula with “+100” isn’t needed, because the ratio already gives you the percentage. Keep in mind though: this is your personal RTP over a small sample size. The theoretical RTP of a game (what providers publish, like 96% for a slot) is based on billions of simulated spins, so your short-term results will usually differ a lot.
