Sony CSL Contactless Cryptographic Hardware

Sony Computer Science Laboratories has developed a contactless cryptographic hardware that does not need to be connected to a PC via a USB port.
The device is based on IC-card technology.

The IC-card module is used to store private keys in encrypted form. According to the developers of Sony CSL, this technology allows you to manage private keys for the use of personal data using the blockchain.

“This is an infrastructure technology with many possible applications,” say Sony CSL developers.

According to them, such a solution can popularize the blockchain and ensure the security of transactions. When Sony devices appear on the market, not yet reported.

Pretty cool concept. I thought these types of devices already existed though, but instead of using this encrypted technology, the data was simply sent over wifi. Oh well, the more security the better I guess

Sounds good. Really surprising that they work that way, just through the wifi, amazing. But you know, i guess it would be hard, but security is also important. Good post, thank you.
