Affiliate Commissions, False Advertising ?

So I noticed something very weird with my stake commission.  On the site it says that you get 10% commission rate for each affiliate that plays under your code.  But 10% of what.  Because what it really is “game edge (decimal number) ✖️amount played ➗2” 

so for example take plinko (1.00% edge) 

1.00 x $50.00 / 2 =$25.00 => 10% {$2.50} ..

so now that I explained that tell me why these two players are playing basically the same games on average have two very different payouts? 
 

both players are plat 3 , both players have wagered around the same amount 1mil but one player has only generated like 500 in commission and the other 1500??? 

I asked each of them personally what they play normally and they both said they do slots and originals liken randomly.  Just seems like a total scam happening here.
