ceastem Posted October 31, 2018 #1 Posted October 31, 2018 So yeah, i just want to know if this is really true. I want to refer my friends from school to stake. The only problem is that all my friends and I enjoy the free wifi our school offers. The problem is, will we be considered as one household? Or can only one of us be active here on forum challenges and giveaways? Cause that will surely be a bummer. And if i cannot introduce these "free money" concept to them, i don't even know if they will want to play here or not
ekzxc Posted October 31, 2018 #2 Posted October 31, 2018 According to what happend to me and my friend. You cant. If you all play at the same network even once. Their accounts will be considered as your alternate. And if one of them chats on the channel you will be muted. The only solution that's been offered to us by the support is to prove that the multiple accounts that's playing in our network is different users. By writing on a piece of paper our username, ip address, browser version, email and take a selfie with our valid ids. And also if you and your friends tries to join a giveaway. You will all be banned. So i suggest don't invite them, unless you're going to use your mobile data for playing in stake.
ceastem Posted October 31, 2018 Author #3 Posted October 31, 2018 Thanks! I will keep this in mind. But can you clarify this part "writing on a piece of paper your usernemes, browser version etc." So even after doing that to prove we're different persons we will still be unable to join the giveaways challenges or chats?
DancerCat Posted October 31, 2018 #4 Posted October 31, 2018 It's possible admin will think it's same person. And you can get ban. Write to support here and ask for solution. Good luck :)

Yes you are right. We've been allowed to play with the same network but we can't join the giveaways. Only one from us can join in the giveaways
williamshennie9 Posted October 31, 2018 #6 Posted October 31, 2018 This is exactly why I don't tell my friends who live in my apartment block about Stake. We all use one open wifi network. My biggest fear is one of them start using Stake, and it looks like I am creating alts, since the information is coming from the same IP address.

Lol haha i just wish that in my entire school nobodyfiscovers stake even by accident. We have a total population of around 10k this semster i think? And it would be terrible if i had one discover stake by mistake.
Dan Posted November 5, 2018 #8 Posted November 5, 2018 Any accounts that share same networks don't count as referrals.
