I played not only in plinko - intermediate I made about 10K bets in other games - maybe I just came at the right time ?

so you mean you hit higher multiplier with just few bets?

I've had to Chips fly off the board more times  (twice) than get a x1000 (zero times)

it's a plinko bug

When playing plinko, when i try higher payouts with 15 or max with just lesser bets , it takes me about 99x of 0.2 before hitting 3x or sometimes 100x if lucky haha

Based on the fundamentals of Binomial Expansion, here is the probability of how likely you are to land in each of the outcomes listed on 16 pin Plinko.

1  •  16  •  120  •  560  •  1820  •  4368  •  8008  •  11440  •  12870  •  11440  •  8008  •  4368  •  1820  •  560  •  120  •  16  •  1

Total = 65536
Odds of 1000x = 2 / 65536 = 1 / 32768

If the probability is 1 / 32768, why is the payout only 1000X ?

How does the house edge factor into this ?

@Memeka this is half of the truth , suppose u played 65k rolls with base bet 10sat , then sum all win values for the 16 pins like this :

10*1*1000 + 10*16* 130+ 10*120* 26 , ..... and substract from 650k then u can get house edge correctly.

Perhaps because you might get other multiplier beside of x1000. The probablity split I think..

Okay, I got it,

As you said, we actually have to multiply the listed payouts with the potential outcome and sum it up first before calculating the house edge.

Thanks.

You never lose your whole wager.

This is another aspect I didn't take into consideration. Thanks for pointing this out.

It's interesting to know the mathematics behind the games.

I agree, I found it super fascinating when researching it.

I have hit 1000x many time ( im forgot exactly). My biggest bet when hit 1000x with 80k sat and last i hit it yesterday but with only 2500 sat. I hope my luck on plinko still continue although lately very hard to hit big in this one game.
