The Horror of Automatic betting Strategies in Dice

Have you ever walk away just for a moment to get a drink while leaving your dice running on automatic bet with a shiny new found dice strategy that is suppose to make you millions but only to end up having "Insufficient Balance" to show up after coming back? 

In my case, I faced this countless times ever since my introduction to dice in cryptogambling. Most deadly would be a "100 % increase on loss" setting that is doubling the initial basebet amount upon each loss which can be horrific when the losses just keeps coming along and stacking up! 😕

So what is your input or perhaps even a horror story regarding this specific function of dice?

100% increase on loss is basically martingale in its simplest form. If you let it run for a few hours, you are bound to have busted your balance. Unless your base bet is 1 satoshis, and you have 600+ BTC in your Stake account, martingale will wipe you out

Yes... countless times. Enough times, that one of my main rules I made for myself is NO auto. Not for a pee break, not for a smoke break, not to blow your nose, answer the phone, get a drink... or hell... even blink. NO auto. x_X  Auto bet is for Stake to win, not the player lol

Im pretty sure even if you had more than that you will still lose everything. Haha

Anyways i agree with this. Auto bet is just gary in disguise

I only use this feature when hunting for challenges or roll hunts. Other than that, not anymore since i always busted through experience. And even low base bets ones that takes long times to lose usually do not cover my electricity fee for the time spent lol

Automatic betting is good just the balance should be sufficient enough to get over a lot of reds(usual ones), so when u use this, bet lower than you used to.

Change sides as well and change strategies, if you plan to leave it for a long run.

Yeah i experienced that too. Using martingale and already calculated my balance can tank 25 streak lose, leave it for 1-2 hour and once i back, all my balance is gone.

I did martingale and had a big balance, turns out I bust even tho the losing streak was 33 reds on 2x payout, horrible and the money just went away, 15 mins later when I came back I had lost my whole balance

you are totally correct @Etude. it happened to me twiice .I was tryig that feeling sleepy and winning.when i was going to make something to eat and return there where no alance.so after that when i play autobet i never leave and when i have to leave i just stp it and restart later

oohhhh!horror stories I have plenty of them!but it's no use telling them we've all gone through it I think!?
what I do now to increase my chances of winning (when I play automatically those that are very rare) is that I put my bar at x1.60 and 165% on loose, the bet is relative to the player but I put 100sat!
I'm not saying it's safe because nothing's safe, but it's not bad!
then we have to stay on watch in case it goes into peanuts!!!
