Beyond the jagged cliffs of Anambas lies a crimson wasteland—barren, pulsing like an open wound. Nothing grows there. The ground is scorched and soft, as if something beneath it is still breathing. And there, scattered across the field, stand the watchers: towering, shadow-like figures with glowing red eyes, silent and unmoving. They do not walk. They do not speak. But they see. Legend says the field was once a burial ground for the condemned—those who broke sacred oaths and were bound to stone stakes, left to vanish beneath the earth. Every Halloween, the fog returns, and so do the guardians. They rise from the soil, standing over the graves they once occupied. They are not looking for victims. They are looking for replacements. One night, a local streamer named Raka decided to broadcast a live exploration of the field. He wanted to prove the stories were just superstition. Armed with a drone, thermal cameras, and satellite signal, he began his stream. Thousands watched as he entered the field. Then… the shadows appeared. One by one, the red eyes lit up behind him. Raka turned. The stream cut to static. Only one frame remained: Raka standing motionless in the center of the field, a new stone stake rising behind him.
