wilbergei Posted November 4, 2018 #1 Posted November 4, 2018 What do you guys think about the house edge affect on all casinos ?
Snike Posted November 4, 2018 #2 Posted November 4, 2018 That's the only way they can make money. I think it's fair the way stake handles it!
wilbergei Posted November 4, 2018 Author #3 Posted November 4, 2018 How about the really high ones. Like on american roulette its around 5.24% edge

williamshennie9 Posted November 5, 2018 #5 Posted November 5, 2018 Casinos would breakeven without the house edge. Luckily it is small enough to make a profit in the short run, but unfortunately, even if you do win, in the long run, the statistics will balance out and you will lose again...
bmc001 Posted November 5, 2018 #6 Posted November 5, 2018 99% affected i guess.. why? idk lol.. i just know it
Mahdirakib87 Posted November 5, 2018 #7 Posted November 5, 2018 House is the main thing that's make the gambling site alive. They get profit for the house edge. At start time some gambling site face negative profit. But as time run user wager much and the house edge finally makes the work and get back their loss and profit for house edge.

davinmark Posted November 7, 2018 #9 Posted November 7, 2018 every gambling sites have a House Edge i think, they take some profit from it But i hope the % of edge is not big. because its really affected to the player who won the game
Etude Posted November 13, 2018 #10 Posted November 13, 2018 House edge is exactly what online casinos depends on to win over players in the long run to be honest!
DancerCat Posted November 13, 2018 #11 Posted November 13, 2018 Let's stick to the topic :) House edge is there for casinos to have small advantage over player. But, house edge have real effect only of you play long runs,
jkd123 Posted November 13, 2018 #12 Posted November 13, 2018 House edge is more percentage chance on casino side. If there 1% HE it's meaning your chance is only 49.5% to win on 2x payout and casino have 50.5% chance to beat you. Why? If there no house edge, there will be 50:50, but since casino or dealer have house edge 1% there is only 99% its 49.5 on your side and 49.5+1 on dealer. when you run for long run you will get bust slowly since house have more % to beat you.
Realraidengod Posted December 11, 2018 #13 Posted December 11, 2018 house edge effects you when you win and dont withdraw but for the rest it doesn't really bother me cuz i don't feel it
SovietDoggo Posted December 11, 2018 #14 Posted December 11, 2018 I think the house edge isn't needed at all but that's my opinion.
Etude Posted December 11, 2018 #15 Posted December 11, 2018 31 minutes ago, SovietDoggo said: I think the house edge isn't needed at all but that's my opinion. It's the bread and butter for the site's profit in the long run.

Then casinos would break even, and there would be no incentive to keep the website operational (unless ads are introduced, but I would not gamble in a casino which spams ads). The house edge is used to keep the casino alive and pay for all the expenses and make the casino profit.
zeriko Posted December 14, 2018 #17 Posted December 14, 2018 It makes sense. The casino has to make something out of every bet , this is a business and the fact that they've facilitated the environment to gamble should be paid for.
