bobdole Posted November 8, 2018 #1 Posted November 8, 2018 I was wondering what general strategies people here use in terms of the size of their bet compared to the amount of risk they are willing to take. An example would be one person having a balance of 500,000 satoshis and betting 10,000 on each plinko ball high. Another person with the same balance may be betting 200 sats on HILO hunting a very high multiplier. Obviously the person playing Plinko is making a much riskier bet that depends upon hitting something within about 50 bets. The person playing HILO is not taking much risk but is committing a lot of time in order to get a similarly large payout. My question to you is, in your experience which of these play styles do you prefer and which do you think is more effective in the long run? Or if you bet a different way I'd like to hear why you use it and how well it works for you. 😁
DviouS Posted November 9, 2018 #2 Posted November 9, 2018 I generally try not to pass the bet size of 1/20th of my bankroll on a single bet, tho I have been known to make some foolish bets in my past, I try to stick to something that is more practical for winning, and not busting x_X Seems I always lose when I chase high payouts or bet the farm... so I try to keep the farm, an bet 1 piggy at a time

Targeting the High PO really requires a very large fortune but the risk is small. It's different from targeting low PO but with high bets it requires smaller luck but the level of risk borne is very large. I use Martingale on Chartbet and target high PO, because we won't know when high PO will appear

williamshennie9 Posted November 9, 2018 #5 Posted November 9, 2018 I like to risk 5% of my balance a day. It is not very risky, but also not a major loss if I lose.
griffinreynolds Posted November 9, 2018 #6 Posted November 9, 2018 I prefer to bet 50k in Keno when I have 2mil+, when I have 100-1mil I bet upto 25k and when I have 10mil+ I bet 100k upto 250k. I use same numbers in Keno, I have a bit luck in Keno too 😜 About other games I play Mines too my preferred bet is half of money the start in Mines and then after that when I have 2x profit I decrease my bet to 2/10th of my balance.
Moderator Flan Posted November 9, 2018 Moderator #7 Posted November 9, 2018 I don't really like high-risk multiplier. But sometime I do those things. All is based on luck, if you in 50bets with 10k satoshi, and some of them hit the highest pin before 50 bets, it is profit. Same as 100 satoshi, if your luck are insane as god child. You can make profit same as the high risk bet.
Snike Posted November 10, 2018 #8 Posted November 10, 2018 I like the "high risk, high reward" mindset. It just pleases me more when I feel the adrenaline!
peel1 Posted November 10, 2018 #9 Posted November 10, 2018 Id rather go for a high chance at low multipliers than hunt big ones because I find its more profitable
