High-roller flame on stake.

Hello guys, If you're a high roller you've probably got annoyed of being Hidden, but once you type on chat, YES! You're on flames, beggars, friends asking for loans, duhh.. Annoying.

I think it would be a great option if the flame actually WOULD be hidden whilst in the hidden mode... Also come on, even if you don't chat, but you can be seen in the Legends tab, but that's alright i guess... but really.. when people click on your profile, you can be hidden, but what is there you may ask? Of course, this lovely, freaking fire! 

You know, I'm not gonna lie, I was actually quite afraid of actually betting high or going for some high payouts which would cause fire, because of all them people on stake wanting a bit of it and since it's so easy to know who's betting, just click profile, fire, yep, it's him/her... Annoying.

Also what do you think about this fire situation? Do you think it's should still be like that? Or do you think the players should get the deserved privacy?

@Dan Sorry if I posted in the wrong section of the forum, but I'm not sure where else to post it, since it's not a bug. (I guess at least)

If you are in hidden mode, than 100% the fire should also disappear when in chat.

However it should be on as default, or you could have a separate fire option as a whole anyways.

Some people love the fame that comes with the flame I'm pretty sure!

Yes, that's true. Some people like it, but there's no point of hiding yourself using "Hidden" when you want attention, you get me?

Lol! yeah,  i totally agree w u. Its extremely annoying when pms starts attacking in the background while u r in the midst of ur games. I hate distractions while im playing. Hopefully they will come up with something.

Yes if u are in hidden mode then there should be no flame and no placement on the leaderboard . Isnt that the point of being hidden

Tbh the recent update where in default you cannot receive pm's from people you are not friends with solved most of that problem. I think the flame is nice, makes you stand out and everything. If you close chat all the passives tagging won't bother you.

However, there IS one thing still easily annoying, which is the minimum tip spam by passive tippers. I wonder when will the ability to turn off tips from others (or set a min tip limit) be implemented?

actually when we are tipping to someone too, there so many PM's coming and asking about loans/begging

i think Flame is good. why you have to afraid of?  getting flames beside my name is my dreams since i joined stake

Yes I think this might actually be something that the developers missed out on or slipped. In the previous update, hidden mode does actually hides the flame as a whole but not anymore.

Yes, but I think we're forgetting one thing. Remember, you're HIDDEN for a reason, you don't want a fucking flame, do you?

Not if you're a regular stake high roller that wants to be Hidden, this discussion is mostly about wanting you privacy.

Or maybe add an option to turn on/off the flame icon. So you can choose to show it or not.

Nah for me the flame is a pretty good thing. It's like an inspiration for others, "if he can put a fire in his name I can too" or something like that.

Im totally agreed with you about this, even if you tip to some players a bit high or make some trivias or share your bet ids that you got high profits they send requests, ask for loans, beg etc etc.

Guys come on, I have to repeat myself once again, I'M not talking about deleting the fire in general, like some people are thinking.

I'm saying to disable fire if someone is on Hidden.

Maybe the best solution is having another option in User Settings.

A tick box "Enable flame on HR".

Because maybe not all users in hidden mode want their flame removed as well.

I agree with Mav, I don't think any setting should be forced upon a user. I think the best is to have a setting where you can choose if you want your flame to display or not

If you don't talk in chat and turned ghost mode on, no one will ever see the flame unless they personally stalk your stake account profile.

Exactly why adding the option to turn flame on or off is a waste of time for devs. Ghost mode + no talk in chat = flame not appearing = you choose when you want to see your flame. That right there is already the "option" to turn flame hidden or visible.

So the ability to chat without flame, ok that makes a little more sense now. I do agree with that, especially with the recently implemented tagging function.

Don't think you can speak on behalf of devs regarding how complicated engine work is, unless you are a dev for this specific site since other sites might have different engines and whatnot. Please don't assume something without basis.

Thanks for the suggestion, we have already got this on the development list of things to fix in the coming future. Its not currently of high priority so its sitting a little bit down the list. We have over 400 tasks currently on our backlog and powering through them daily.

Something like this isn't a high priority fix.

Trust me I can do programming, coding and other shit and no matter what engine they use, it's not a hard fix.

The 1 balance remaining issue is already fixed? I feel like you love to just post stuff for the sake of it. Have you tried to replicate that particular bug?
