Kargai Posted October 11, 2017 #1 Posted October 11, 2017 What are Those Alt Fights About ? The principle between those "fights" is really simple. Every now and then (once a week ideally) we will imagine a virtual fight between 2 different alt coins roughly of the same value. The goal is to predict which one will progress the most (or lose the least) during the following month. The team will briefly present both of the coins : some key points, market cap, stats, historical data, link to their main website & co. In short we will provide some basics informations but if you decide to digg deeper you'll have all the links to do it. After this presentation each of you will be able to choose (for a 3 or 4 days) one of the coin to support : #TeamAltCoin1 or #TeamAltCoin2 The thread will be open to discussion so you'll be able to debate about why your choice is the best and try to rally other members to your team. Once the election period is over we will wait 1 month to see what happen before the final result. Every member of the winning team will receive some virtual points (* more details later). The Main Idea Our idea here is to help you discover some new alt coins slowly, week after week. Maybe it will help you to invest, buy, sell, exchange or at least discuss about some of those coin. If you are smart you could even use this knowledge and apply it to our Fantasy Trader section for winning some great prices every month. How the Point System Work ? For every fight we'll have a pot with 100 points to share. They'll be distributed according to the number of members present in the winning team. For example : if the winning team is composed of 31 people, each of them will receive 3 points. If there is only 10 people in a team, each will receive 10 points. Taking risks and betting on the coin with the least chance of winning could be interesting ... or not For now we have not fully decided how those points will be use in the future but we will find something fun and different than just some splatooshis.

Unlimited no because you need to have a forum account to participate ^^ But if 500 members of the forum join one team and win, the 100 points rewards will be share between 500 (0.2 points for everyone)
Kargai Posted December 15, 2017 Author #12 Posted December 15, 2017 It was suppose to be some predictions threads between the monthly Fantasy Trader ones. I planned to launch 2-3 Alt Fight a month between each Fantasy Trade. I wrote the first one but i'm still wainting for @Dan to review it and tell me what he think about it and if if it does not interfere with what he plan to do with the monthly challenge
Dan Posted December 16, 2017 #13 Posted December 16, 2017 I like the idea and I don't think it will get in the way.
testB Posted December 16, 2017 #14 Posted December 16, 2017 Future historians will speak of these events as the series of conflicts that would culminate in the Great Crypto Wars of 2022. This conflict didn't end before claiming the lives of billions, and is only eclipsed by the AI rebellion two decades later
Grifter Posted December 16, 2017 #15 Posted December 16, 2017 this will be like a TeamLoverCoin and TeamHaterCoin exciting
