Not a creature was stirring and Eddie wasn’t in the house. The stockings were hung by the chimney with Care. In hopes that our extra monthly bonus would be there. Β

One of the most interesting πŸ€” Christmas πŸŽ„ story for me was that my wife and I and our children had to go beg for food from our neighbour and we looked that ourselves and laughed and said next year will never be the same and thank Goodness it's so different now. In as much then it was so so embarrassing but the story change for good. This time we are the Santa's ourselves lol πŸ˜‚Β

"I love you, Mom"
The mother in this heartwarming Christmas story was already burdened with worries for her family. On Christmas Day, she worried even more. When she saw her child take the wallpaper, she became angry and scolded her child for saving up to buy it. But after seeing her child write "I love you, Mom" on the paper, she regretted her actions. She realized she needed to show more love to her family. This is also the message the story wants to convey to us.

Every Christmas, I set one extra plate on the table.

No one asks why. I just do.

Years ago, someone very close to me walked out of my life after a small argument that grew into a long silence. Days turned into years. Pride kept us apart, but hope never left me.

So every Christmas Eve, while the lights glow and carols play softly, I prepare one more meal. Not because I expect a knock at the doorβ€”but because love doesn’t stop waiting.

Last Christmas, as I sat alone, my phone buzzed. One message. Just two words:

β€œAre you awake?”

That extra plate suddenly meant everything.

Christmas didn’t change the past. It changed the future. πŸŽ„β€οΈΒ

’Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;
And mamma in her ’kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap,

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave a lustre of midday to objects below,
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,

With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;

β€œNow, Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! on, Cupid! on, Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!”

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky;
So up to the housetop the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.

He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot;
A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a pedler just opening his pack.

His eyesβ€”how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard on his chin was as white as the snow;

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath;
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook, when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly.

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself;
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sightβ€”
β€œHappy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”

The fire crackles softly again, the magic lingering in the air. πŸŽ„βœ¨

Tis the night before Christmas of 2025 πŸŽ„...

On the North Pole, Santa and his elves are very busy preparing all the gifts that they will distribute that day for all the nice kids on his list. Rudolf the red nose reindeer together with his buddies are making sure the sleigh and ropes are in good condition. In about a minute, everyone together with Santa will go to each chimneys and bring the gifts to the deserving kids who were nice the whole year of 2025. After every delivery, Santa will always do his famous laugh "Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho!" and greet everyone a Merry Christmas πŸŽ„"

In a parallel universe, Cedi is waiting that all his entry in the StakeMas giveaways to be picked and win some of the prizes. Haha.

β€œI learned that strength is not about never falling.

It’s about rising again with tenderness, even when life has taken something from you.

Some people don’t just survive β€” they transform pain into meaning, and by doing so, they remind us that being human is, in itself, an act of courage.”

One Christmas that really stuck with me was when my family couldn’t afford gifts, so we decided to make them instead. We spent the whole day cooking together, writing handwritten notes, and laughing nonstop. That night, we exchanged our simple homemade gifts by candlelight during a power outage, and it turned out to be the warmest, happiest Christmas I’ve ever had. It reminded me that the best part of the holidays isn’t what’s under the tree, but who’s around it β€οΈπŸŽ„

Tis the night before Christmas

when the world felt enormous and wonder felt near. The tree seemed so tall, the lights twice as bright, and sleep was impossible deep in the night.

Footsteps were magic, each sound made you grin, wrapping paper waited like treasure within. The air tasted sweet with pine, cocoa, and cheer, and tomorrow felt bigger than all of the year.

Now time moves much faster, but still we all knowβ€”

that childlike joy lives where Christmas lights glow. πŸŽ„

Ricardo’s Christmas Light

Β

Ricardo lived in a small town where winter nights were long and quiet. Every December, the houses glowed with colorful lights, but Ricardo’s house stayed dark. His family didn’t have much, and decorations felt like a luxury.

Β

On Christmas Eve, Ricardo found an old, broken lantern in the shed. It didn’t shine brightly, but after cleaning it and placing a small candle inside, it gave off a warm, gentle glow. Ricardo set it by the window.

Β

That night, a snowstorm swept through town. A tired traveler, lost and cold, noticed the faint light from Ricardo’s window. Guided by it, he knocked on the door. Ricardo’s family welcomed him in, shared their simple meal, and offered a place by the fire.

Β

By morning, the storm had passed. The traveler left with a smile and a blessing, and Ricardo realized something important: even the smallest light can guide someone home.

Β

That year, Ricardo’s house didn’t have the brightest decorationsβ€”but it had the warmest Christmas of all.

My girlfriend, Emily, sent me a text regarding her family’s Christmas Eve dinner: "Dress festive! My parents are very traditional."

I took this as a challenge.

I arrived at their mansion wearing a sweater that was a fire hazard. It featured a 3D Rudolph with a blinking red nose and actual jingle bells sewn into the sleeves. When I walked, I sounded like a sleigh crash.

I kicked the front door open and yelled, "MERRY CHRISTMAS, YOU FILTHY ANIMALS!"

Silence.

I looked around.

It was a candlelight dinner. Emily’s father was wearing a tuxedo. Her mother was in a floor-length silk gown. A string quartet was playing Mozart in the corner.

"Traditional," I realized in horror, meant Victorian Aristocracy, not Ugly Sweater Party.

I stood there, a blinking neon neon nightmare, while the string quartet slowly stopped playing. My Rudolph nose blinked: On. Off. On. Off.

Emily’s father, a terrifying man with a monocle, stood up slowly. He walked toward me. I prepared to be thrown out a window.

He stopped inches from my face, staring at my chest.

"Is that..." he whispered, pointing at Rudolph, "...fleece lined?"

"Yes, sir," I squeaked.

He turned to his wife. "Martha! I told you! It is possible to combine style and comfort!"

He immediately ripped off his tuxedo jacket. Underneath, he was wearing a t-shirt that said GANGSTA WRAPPER with a picture of a hip-hop Santa.

"Thank God," he sighed, patting my shoulder. "I thought I was going to be the only one. Let's eat."
