Kate Posted November 17, 2018 #1 Posted November 17, 2018 Summary Basically Coinbase one of the Largest and well the most well known online crypto wallet and also well known for their exchange called "GDAX" which allows users to trade between different coins has announced that they will be removing the ability of Trading, Sending, and Receiving Bitcoin Cash in the online wallet and the GDAX Exchange. Non Summary If you guys follow the Coinbase Blog on Medium then you would know that Coinbase had announced that they would just stop the Sending , Receiving , Selling and Buying of Bitcoin Cash just for like 1 hour before the Fork and they will re enable without monitoring of the BCH Network. Well they have now again Announced that they will be stopping the Sending , Receiving , Selling and Buying 1 hour before the start time of the Bitcoin Cash Fork that happens on Thursday the Nov 15, 2018 and then Monitor the Stability of the network and then only restart the Features. Also Coinbase has said users who have Bitcoin Cash in their wallets need not worry because they will be taking a screenshot of the Bitcoin Cash balances on all the accounts and when they re enable the Features users can use them again. This might take a few weeks to be re enabled but it might be shorter or may take a longer period of Time. The pause of Trading Sending and Receiving will be paused on the website at 8:00am PST on Thursday, November 15. williamshennie9 Posted November 17, 2018 #2 Posted November 17, 2018 Well, considering today is the 17th of November, I would think that BCH trading will soon be unpaused again, assuming everything went nice and smoothly.

Well I was thinking the same but unfortunately no. I checked my account and still we can't send or receive Bitcoin Cash yet but hopefully soon they re enable the feature.

Basically it was just Coinbase who did the pausing of the activities regarding Bitcoin Cash not all of the Online wallet exchanges. I am not sure but I think you are good to use the features realted to Bitcoin Cash on BitPay. I was just talking about Coinbase not all online wallets in General.
