Perspective on Staff Tipping

So have you ever been in chat where a friendly support staff comes and starts tipping people. Have you ever seen everyone tipped but yourself, and wondered "Hmm i guess they dont like me" Or something negative like that? I wonder if they tip based of chat activity or quality, or if its just pure randomness. What do you guys think?

Most of the time I'm assuming it's because either the person has been a passive beggar many times over in the past and every Mod is tired of constantly muting them, or just inactive in chat. Afaik these staff tip sprees often include most of the people participating in chat with useful stuff (e.g. not "sad day"/"busted"/etc)

@irawk0 please try to stay on topic.

I believe the support and moderators do their best to try and be unbiased towards their rain periods. You also have to understand that trying to determine who "deserves" rain more than others is such a subjective rabbit hole that nobody wants to go down.

Ah very true, I was hoping a staff would reply so that this topic can serve to clarify and reassure those that feel how i described. Thanks!

I think if a mod made you smile, or said something that you liked, you can by all means tip them. I would tip a server at a restaurant for good service, so if I thought a mod was good that day, I have no problem sending them a tip to show my thanks, but it is by no means mandatory that you do this :)

I try to not focus on these type of things and bring feelings into the mix.

But when I do, I definitely feel/think the exact same thing. I understand this is is only natural, but it’s not really worth going on thinking, or even feeling that way when you’re trying to have a good time.

I'm not thinking like, why you didn't tip me, or whatever negative reasons to mods or users that tipping many people in the chat.

Mods has own reason to tip, such as user was making the chat fun to read or helping the lost people at the chat.

I never make a stupid perspective on that things, I got some quote that said "some people will get good karma if he doing good"

Yes i like you cant help but feel that way, but like you said its not worth pondering or dwelling on and best thing to do is not think about it and it should go away. Besides its not like they never tip everyone atleast once.

Its not because they hate them, if you don't wager enough then you also can't get rain or you're just unlucky

Rains mainly on wagering, and right after what Dan wrote i imagine it being a struggle to keep it even with only so much to give out and so many players.
ATleast theres still promos!

In my view they generally tip the players who are kind and very active in chat and users who are helping others out when they can't find a feature this is a good thing they are doing to reward members who makes their job easier by helping out users for small doubts.
