Bring back rainbot to english and do something about code bots.

Quite unfair that english is the only chat excluded from rain. I appreciate all the bonuses stake gives for sure, but its unfair to english speakers that they are the only ones without an option to have rain. Why not bring rainbot back to english, make regional local chatrooms for english speakers, or remove the AI rainbot from all chats to level the field. Especially if you're going to send us the notification not once but twice of increased rain with no mention of it not happening for "global" chats(xmas in july).

On the topic of codebots, it seems a little peculiar that a team of programmers capable of developing an intricate website are unable to figure and implement a solution to bots. Almost like they dont want to. I wonder why? Might be something worth looking into. 👀

It is unfair. As Eddie said, we, as players, should go after all the bonuses that the casino is offering. And for a casino that puts fairness and transparency high up on their marketings, a rainbot should either exist in all channels, or none.

There are a lot of players with no local chatroom, and some choose to be in the english chatroom for the language itself.

So, thats a very easy spottable unfairness right there. It does not cost Stake a lot to have the rainbot in english, but it makes a great step to fairness. So, why?

Ya it makes no sense, and is extremely unfair. First off, even if english chat has more rain and tips between users than other chats, it doesnt matter because literally everyone is allowed to come into English chat and possibly get the rains.

Secondly, because of the open access to all in english chat, it has become the begging capital. People from all other chats dont beg much in their own chats, they come to english chat and try to weasel anything they can from it.

Therefore not only are we not getting rainbot, those who are getting it can also take the rain that we have chance at, making no sense in terms of balance. Then we have constant attacks of passive begging looking for any scraps they can get. The result is that anything that could be received in english chat is under attack by everything possible in the entirety of chat. They can come and try to get what they can from the english chat, then go back to theirs and get the nice cushy rainbot drops.

Giving rainbot to english chat would be most sensible, for it would negate the amount taken out of english chat by the other chat users. Making it a double loss for english chat. And there is a small percentage who do the majority of giving in the english chat. Today chat reached 70,000 people online. It is probably between 250-500 people who you will see giving away in english chat, if not less. That means that these few hundred are basically paying out of pocket to reward the 70,000 users searching for crumbs. Which should be what rainbot is for, not taking advantage of the kindness of the few good people.

If this stays in the system it is, the constant barrage that will keep growing for any crumbs, will become too much for those giving. Then you will see the people that are the natural leaders in the chat, the wiser and more respectful ones, all dissappear from chat one by one. After that happens, there is nothing to balance the nature of the worst chat users. And it will tailspin into the most poisonous of chat rooms, a dark corner amongst the internet.

So stake, please stop hurting the few great people of chat, with this embargo of rainbot. Realize that this is unjustly unfair, and whatever the reasons behind this rainbot ban, it will lead to only negative consequences. The ripples of these consequences will reach all across stake, and slowly rip out the soul and spirit that brings users here.

After hours back and forth on email they finally said the team managing the English chat deactivated it to ensure that we have an enjoyable chat. Here's their response. They don't see it as discrimination against English speaking players.

Then they should let the local rooms have an "enjoyable chat" as well right? 😉

Do we really need the RainBot in chat?

Chat itself is very useful as a place for interaction, and I also enjoy using it. However, when users spam meaningless messages just to qualify for rain, it becomes exhausting and a waste of time to read.

Since rain is only distributed to users who are actively chatting, it is inherently unfair. If RainBot was removed only from the English chat, that is completely unfair as well. At the same time, giving rain only to people who talk in chat is not fair either.

I believe it would be more fair to remove rain from all chats and convert it into a bonus that is available to all users instead.

Regarding codes as well, many users are frustrated due to the increase in users and abuse. Maybe it is time to phase out this type of bonus too and move on to the next stage.

Nothing that can be done, no problem with high wager codes!

1. Break the code into multiple pieces

2. Put the code inside a cluttered picture

3. Use text hard for autoclaimers to read but decypherable by humans

4. Have the codes use human thought process (the code is only every third letter, the code is only the red letters, the code is backwards etc and cycle through them)

4. Surround the code with bait numbers and letters while making it obvious what the real code is to a person.

5. Fisheye or distort the code so it is still easily read by a person yet deters bots.

Should I list more? Nothing that can be done is a ridiculous thing to say.

(High wager codes arent worth it for bot farms to get wager for because of the possible cost loss getting there)

Eddie once said on stream that English users get too many user rains already so we dont need a rainbot. Explain turkey then? Getting 100k from rainbot rains and 800k from aldo rains? Either give us rainbo back or remove it from all chats, ive given up on telegram codes a long time ago because people use bots and get them in under 1 second.

Nothing to say that isn’t already said. Removing rainbot because English chat participants actively/regularly rain on each other is looney tunes!

Exactly. We are more users, hence maybe more rain from users - but also: Less chance to get it. No matter how I turn their argument, it does not become fair.

First off massive respect to @Esprinn, for reaching out to Stake staff, getting answers and giving solid feedback in a very sober and mature manner.

It absolutely does not make sense, and there can be no valid argument imo why english doesnt have rainbot while every single local chat does. A lot of us dont even have local chats. That is a crazy differential treatment of users.

Unfortunately i need to disagree with you.

I can show you how easily it will be to solve any type of visual captcha. Image, video , encoded data , name it all.

All data's shared between your browser and server can be decrypted , manipulated.

Stake's cloudfire anti bots implementation is far from perfect.

I've created one in one day of fun playing.

There are 2 options, stake needs to change the methods, or we can create a free service for all users to have a chance (this isn't reliable since some1 needs to cover some server costs )
